If you want your food and your body to stay safe, do what I do and don't eat out. If I go to a restaurant, it is because that is my only choice. The last time I did eat out, it was at a Brixx Pizza and that was almost 2 years ago. Before that, it was at a family member's 10th anniversary party more than 5 years ago and before that at my daughters wedding dinner, which was 14 years ago. That's right, 3 times in 14 years. Not only does it same me a crapload of money, it saves my health. Now for the reason. I had a heart attack. My job kept me on the road daily and I ate at pretty much every chain there is, from the buffet barns to Chinese to even Waffle House. There's nothing like a heart attack, to open your eyes.

Most of the waffle houses that I've gone to while traveling have been filthy. The floors are so dirty your feet stick to the floor. The windows are dirty, and the tables sticky. The employees are lazy, and can't be bothered. I stopped going to them years ago. I figured I would quit before they give me food poisoning.

Trust me ,,,,,every commercial kitchen is infested with roaches.

I thought the hourly employees there weren't permitted to talk to the media.

Waffle house is disgusting. i haven't eaten there in a year. we ate there because it was the only food place close to our hotel that we were staying at. the town was disgusting, so it wasn't a shock that the restaurant was disgusting. i ordered an orange juice, and when i got it, i noticed black stuff in my juice and on my cup. (meaning they gave me a dirty cup) i was disgusted. i told my mom, and she told me to be quiet about to, because she didn't want me to be rude about it, plus it was getting late and this was the only option. before the food came, i went to the bathroom. oh my god. that bathroom was disgusting! it has used toilet paper all over the floor, and the sink was broken. i got out and sat down to eat, and the food was disgusting. i got a burger but it didn't even have meat, it was some mysterious grey patty (like the one from spongebob no fucking joke) we left and immediately after, i got a stomach ache. never again.
