Coming up in and around the city,
The Outback Sports Bar & Restaurant will be the venue for the Veteran's Charity Breakfast Club this weekend. Taking place on Saturday, that's the 29th June from 10am until 12 noon. Enjoy a big brekkie for just 200baht, and 20% off other breakfast menus. Lots of great prizes up for grabs in their raffle, including a seafood buffet for two at a top hotel, and all donations and raffle entry fees will be donated to the Take Care Kids Foundation.
Talking of food, a busy weekend for foodies as the Fun Food Fest is back over at the Terminal 21 shopping mall, this time with a carnival theme. Lots of stalls selling all different cuisines, street food, food trucks, shows, and live music every day on the runway outside the mall. On Saturday evening, there will be a magic show from 8pm, and live music too, and on Sunday, there'll be a Carnival Cabaret Show from 8pm onwards. Lots to see, do, and eat, and free entry too.
And if you fancy a stroll down the beach, this weekend is the 'Food truck on the beach' festival, lots of food trucks lining the beach offering both Thai and Western food, all day until Sunday, from 2pm until 10pm.
From food to fast, cars that is. Just down the road in Bang Saen, Sunday the 3rd of July will see the launch of the Bang Saen Grand Prix. That's a 5 day long event and the biggest raving festival of the year which transforms Bangsaen Beach and surrounding streets into a street race circuit. A great experience and entrance is completely free. Get down there early next weekend to get a good spot in the spectators area as it does get very busy.
Back in Pattaya and over at the Loft Pub, on Sundays, they have their 3 course Sunday carvery, with 5 different meats to choose from, with all the trimmings as well as soups, starters and deserts for just 425 baht.
At Hemingways Lakeside, every Friday is Indian night - your choice of 4 curries together with a drink for just 249 baht - a good place to watch the sports too as they will be showing all the matches on their large screens.
And just a quick heads up to get your dancing shoes out and polished as NEXT Saturday, that's the 6th July, is the next Souled Out Night party. Again, taking place at the Caddyshack on Thepprasit Soi 8. 8-10pm, a 2 hour free flow for just 500 baht a person and the proceeds will go to the Take Care Kids foundation.
