Discover the magic of La Garita Beach in Gran Canaria and its surrounding wonders in our latest video.
We walk along the promenade, exploring the hidden beaches of Los Palos, San Borondón, and El Barranquillo in a northerly direction. This is also the hiding place of the Cueva Reina (Queen's Cave), which is dangerous to access and which we therefore avoid.
Our visit does not end there, we continue our walk now in a southerly direction along the beaches of Telde de Hoya del Pozo and Playa del Hombre. On the way you will see the sculpture of the swimmers and the famous Bufadero de La Garita (Gran Canaria).
Remember that to visit the Bufadero, the swell should preferably be from the south, southwest or east (south component) and the tide should be rising or falling. Ideally, half tide rising.
You have more information about what to see in La Garita, including restaurants, in our blog.
