@@briannuckols9520 I find the hand writing out the words and drawing to be very distracting. I can't focus on the words when everything is moving like that. This is heavy stuff, and the vocabulary doesn't really help explain the subject any better than my textbook. More down to earth language would be helpful.

not that helpful unfortunately. I did not understand much from the examples used, I came to know about the structure but it seems like you were talking less about it but more about the texts that you tried to use for this.

The new language to talk about same sex marriage had nothing to do with academic discourse of postmodernists. If you listen carefully you realize that such a claim is not quite made but strongly implied. Postmodernism is littered with such sleights of hand.
