Disgaea Item God Ending

To get this ending first you have to get to floor 100 in a Legendary Item in Item World then you have to beat the Item God there. Next kill one of your own allies so you don't get the good ending.

I actually like this ending the most. It shows a lot of growth on Laharl's part. I mean, he's been striving for Overlord for the entire game, and finally he realizes that he isn't ready for it yet. That's tremendous character growth.

So, uh...it's like the Good ending, just Laharl says "see ya" and vanishes? On a side note, Fallen Angel Flonne is adorable.

This wasn't really that "bad" of an ending. Laharl just realized he wasn't ready to be overlord. Haha, he's gonna have a hell of a time getting his title back from Etna when he IS "ready!!!"

Dan Laemmerhiry I know and when he comes back he will be a splendid overlord just like his father after that, there going to make a sequel out of it and etnas brother might be spared and recruited by Laharl

Balls. THIS is the ending I had gotten. I didn't even realize it wasn't the good or bad ending. I didn't even know there WERE multiple endings. ARRRRGHHH.

I'd love to see Disgaea Dimension 2 pick up after this ending. I'm sure it won't but it would be amazing.

two things: 1) this is the item god ending 2) you don't kill flonne in that ending, she actually kills you (according to the producers)

Well atleast in this ending Laharl didn't suicide, but it still feels a bit sad that he left everyone.....

@evilsirjohn He didn't reincarnate, he was just turned into a prinny for committing a sin (for suicide)

@Omnicloudx13 He didn't commit suicide in any of the endings, the one you're thinking of is the ending where Laharl sacrifices himself to bring Flonne back, but he doesn't die, he reincarnates as a Prinny

I believe if you are set for a neutral ending (not enough ally kills to get a bad one, but not still some ally kills) and you kill an item god, the item god ending overrides a neutral ending and gives you this one. AKA Laharhararara is powerful, but not wise and bitches out.

You only get this ending if you also have at least one ally kill on top of beating the Item God.

Huh... I'd actually rather get the bad ending than this one... and I'd prefer the good ending over that, obviously... The fact that the Game Over music plays should tell you something. Tragic Marionette. *sigh*

the anime ending was the bad ending this i think was the normal ending and the good one is where mid boss shows up and just about the same thing but laharl stays as the overlord and goes off being bad ass.... i dont like the bad ending though i like this one and the good one partially but my faves are the one where you kill flonne hahaha

because flonne.....is annoying xD the first time i played through it she kept getting killed and being annoying even after i tried to level her up i had her my third strongest at about 5k then i just gave up on her since....i cant stand her love preaching xD
