Hello, I am TheTimTracker. Welcome to my crazy beard and mustache driven life! OH my gosh! That was the same Genie they had on the Disney Fantasy in their version of Aladdin! He is awesome! And they gave him a part in another show they did on board!

At 4:30 when you go upstairs in Tower of Terror; there is a very cool effect. In the Twilight Zone episode "Little Girl Lost" where the child falls through a hole in the wall of her bedroom into the 4th dimension, she calls to her mother from beyond. The scientist draws lines to the opening on the wall. Those drawings are on the wall up there on that upstairs level. If you put your ear to the wall you can hear the girl calling out. It is very cool.

The Aladdin show killed me. Too funny! >o< Also, the cat was there because Walt Disney put in cat houses for about 300 feral cats to keep the rodent population down in the parks.

I'm so glad you got to see Aladdin. After going to both WDW and Disneyland it will always be my favorite show. I always go see it when I go to Disneyland and am so sad it is ending in a few weeks. I know a lot of people that don't buy park hoppers might have gone to DCA and then sit outside the park to still catch the fireworks and it's almost easier to see from there because there are less people and you don't have to look straight up. I'm glad you guys had great time and hope you make it back in the future

I remember when I went to Disneyland/DCA, we went on Monsters and broke down at 1:05 and got to experience an evac, or in show exit, it was an interesting day at the parks to say the least.

At the 0:50 mark or so in the Mike and Sulley ride, you can sort of see two of the characters that used to be there when the ride started out as the terrible Superstar Limo, just covered up with CDA Agent Hazmat Suits: the guy doing the splits is just a covered Jackie Chan figure and the one holding a fan of papers is a covered-up Drew Carey (who had been holding Maps to The Stars Homes maps)...a nice job of recycling!

And with the people outside for the fireworks, they actually don't pay at all for parking in downtown because parking is free for 3 hours

Glad you guys stuck around for World of Color but you never talked about your thoughts on it. To me, it is the best nighttime show Disney has ever created. Granted, the Holiday version and the 60th Diamond version are not the best, the first version still gives me chills during the lion king part.

Not to brag too much but I'm VERY 99.4% my family and I stayed in that EXACT suite at Paradise Pier for New Years Eve back in 2013. It's such an amazing hotel for the price! they left actual Mickey Mouse Rice Krispies on your pillow when we came back to the room for the night, and were just the GREATEST service you could ever hope to get, for a cheaper price than the other two hotels on the property. ooooh you guys are taking me back to such great times. thanks so much!

Fun fact about the cat you saw. There are actually lot of cats around because they used to have a big problem with mice and rats, ironically. So they decided releasing a bunch of cats would take care of the problem. Now there are still a bunch there.

The parade got in the way twice while we were out there this past Thanksgiving. By the way, we stayed at the Paradise Pier the first time we went to Disneyland and we got a park view room on the 9th floor in July. Best trip ever!

Just out of curiosity, why do so many people always hate on the Monsters Inc. ride? I love it!!! Probably because it is one of my most favorite Pixar Movies. The scene with all the doors flying on the tracks is awesome! Also, we stayed one trip at the Paradise Pier Hotel. It was so fun to look out our window each night and watch World of Color!

Jenn said she wanted to see how they made the ice cube at Carthay Circle. They have molds they put water in and then freeze the mold, like an ice cube tray. Jenn is so funny sometimes.

Frozen doesn't start until summer. The Hyperion's stage was gutted and now the new Frozen set is being built.

Hey Tim & Jenn, Just wondering what you think of the new fast pass system vs the old one now that the new one has been in place for a while. Did the trip to Disneyland make you miss the old version? My last trip to WDW was in 2013 so I missed the new system, but it seems less appealing.....

I know you are shocked that people are on the water ride but they could be like me, people who are on holiday from another country and want to ride all the rides because they don’t know when they will be able to come back due to cost etc. We did rides on cool and raining days, I took a change of clothing and put it in the lockers.....not to mention our lovely ponchos, which did us proud 😃

Glad you had a great time. My only trip to DCA was in 2011 when everything was torn up with construction. I'm hoping to go back again early Dec. 2016. Did you not ride Mickey's Fun Wheel (of death) or just didn't tape it? Those moving seats are crazy.

Different temperature measurements. 40 degrees in america is equal to 4.4 degrees Celsius in the UK.

When I went with my school, people kept going on the water ride in the cold weather! They kept whining about being cold! I wonder why. (It was raining too!) Did you guys ride radiator springs racers at night? It's magical.

I live in the Bay Area and lifelong San Franciscans love the cold Pacific. The Pacific along NoCal's coast never gets above 55 degrees all year. SoCal isn't that much warmer. My assumption is that the avid Pacific water fans are not phased by how cold it was that weekend nor how cold the water was.
