Im soo sick and tired of people assuming animation is just for kids. Cause soo many animations tackle difficult topics.

Animation is a feild that demands and deserves respect. It inspires soo mamy people but yet animators get treated like crap. A lot of people knows this happens from all the reactors ive seen stating how painstakibg animating encanto mustve been but nothing gets done.

Funny enough, it was pressure by animation advocates that got Oscars to create the Best Aniamted Feature Category.

I also wish broadcast stations embraced cartoons again like the did during the 80's, and early 90's. Streaming services keep jacking up their prices, and even if some streaming cartoons make the jump to cable, they'll lose to crap like 'Teen Titans Go'. Also, it's depressing when I turn on the local Fox affiliate, and see nothing but tabloid trash, and The CW could've filled the void left by Fox Kids, and Kids WB, but they didn't. Meanwhile, if you'r A journalist, you're basically immune to criticism, and scandal. Making you literally 'bullet proof' while an animator, or cartoon creator will get screwed by the studio, and the network.

Yeah there's always some weirdness going on in certain animation companies especially the giant corporate ones , fortunately the company I work for actually treats us like humans and not just another cog in a machine but I will say it various from country to country, I haven't heard any unfairness so far in South African Animation community and everyone is so nice here. Hopefully we can all be appreciated for our work and get paid for the value it deserves, keep up the great work and stay awesome everyone 😁✌

I hope the best for them, but it doesn't help how the issue is that well while it's good to keep up with the times, the problem is if the whole general public is willing to accept it. Since most of us (That were former kids in the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s) kind of gotten pretty cynical due to how mean and cruel the real world is, and feeling that our dreams are shattered. Along with feeling like it's pandering or how most people don't like to be talked down to with real world politics when they want escapism. As well as ageism/generation issues and paranoia on something being misrepresented and used as a target for attack.

i think that Disney should go back to being apolitical and focus more on entertainment rather than real life political stuff and politicians.

The KZfaq algorithm is so geared towards animation being a "children's genre" that it puts clips from shows like FUTURAMA, SWEARS AND ALL, on youtube KIDS to be watched by CHILDREN. KZfaq is marking ludicrously adult content as "for kids" just because it's animated and it's absolutely ridiculous. Tell me, would you rather your 8 year old kid be watching shows like bluey or shows like Futurama and Rick and Morty? Either way, too bad for you because KZfaq puts them on the same level!

Animators deserve better than this crap. I feel like this happens a lot cause animation is seen as a lesser art form thus studios dont care as much about thwir animators as they do for live action crews.

Because of the walkouts, the governor of Florida took away Disney's ability to self-govern. Which is going to raise taxes for everyone who lives in Florida just so he could be the "Big Man on Campus". He sucks as a governor and is more concerned on keeping a company under his thumb then what is actually good for those of us in Florida. I grew up here, and I hate to see what he has done to my home.
