They didn't even try to make the category a challenge. It was basically just: name 5 very famous and well known Disney movies that were made into a musical.

sometimes i think even Disney forgets that Newsies is a disney product. I would have at least made the category have one hard question

Did not know "The Little Mermaid" was a musical, that was my favorite childhood Disney movie. BTW these were all very freaking easy, maybe a testament to the Disney marketing machine.

It was a collaboration effort with Sir Elton John, Tim Rice and Disney to eventually make it into a movie. However at the moment it's a Broadway musical.

There was no point in doing this category if they were going to show video footage of the Broadway shows. Those questions answered themselves. This felt like abc owned Disney was trying to advertise itself through Jeopardy. I personally found this problematic for the integrity of Jeopardy.

Unfortunately whoever was singing “Let it Go” made me want to rip my ears off of my head for how bad and awkward it was IMO. That’s one of the reasons why it shouldn’t have been put in Broadway for me, NO ONE can top Idena Menzel when it comes to that song EVER.
