You know, I only just realised this as an adult, but Lawson and his friends were going to go and drink sodas out of a colander. It's literally the most dense thing I have ever seen.

What's interesting is that at no point in this episode is Lawson a dick to Mikey. He and his team were actually being pretty nice and encouraging even after they won. Nice change of pace since in this instance he wasn't the antagonist in the story.

It's very rare to see Mikey angry. "Enjoy your lunches as you may; juices all around. Feel good about yourselves today. For tomorrow... YOU'RE GOING DOWN!!!"

I like how this episode, Lawson is actually NICE to Mikey. He respects his skills, and therefore, making a comrade out of him, treats him genuinely. He's pretty simple.

Lawson is the bully of the school and that make him the antagonist, but still though Lawson could have made Mikey do mean things to His friends but he didnt and he let Mikey go with his friends at the end (Probably because he had no interest in him no more) but still you get the point, Lawson was still nice enough to let him play on his team.

I noticed that the goalkeepers wore the same jersey as their teammates. Soccer goalkeepers are supposed to wear distinct colors so the referee knows who the keeper is.

Actually, I'm glad they didn't just go with some generic tie ending and make up plot. Mikey deserved to win and still be the "bigger man" by accepting their apology while they were down.

This shows plan to have me dislike Lawson has failed. Even with his stupid insults he never fails to make me laugh.

Funnily enough futbol in its early stages first originated from Britain and it was called Association Football (it was called football because it was played on foot rather than on horseback). That name was rather long so many Britain's started calling it by the shortened slang term "soccer" (which is where the U.S. adopted the name from). Afterwards Britain created another game on foot which they called Rugby Football. The U.S. then created a variation on Rugby Football which became known as American Football, cementing futbol to forever be called soccer in the United States.

Somewhat reminds me of college. I was doing GCSE English and we had to do a drama act. Unbeknownst to the class I took drama at school and without sounding big headed was quite good at it. So we had to get into groups of 4 and no one wanted me. It ended up that me and a friend had to form a group of 2. When it came time to preform we did our act and then had to get feedback. The tutor asked each table what they thought. They were shocked and said it was so dramatic it seemed real. I didn’t know you acted. Did you take drama at school That was brilliant. Never judge anyone, I’m a shy person but as soon as I start acting I’m a completely different person.

No questions asked? He had the intention of winning and so he used mikey to his advantage seeing how good he was. Lawson will do anything to win.

No, there was no "nice" intentions. Any cruel fuck will put away their hate to use someone to their advantage. Secondly, Lawson mostly has beef with TJ and Vince. He does mock and boast but rarely does he do hatefull things.

Tbh Mikey is really good at sports when he tries, examples are this episode, the challenge, tucked in mikey, and the Copycat Kid, in fact Mikey pretty much does well in every sport besides baseball because baseball is where he gets distracted playing in the outfield

Lol I love that 1 of the teams was made up of mostly secondary characters (upside down girl n such) would of been great to see them in a longer match and have more jokes or gags involved with their quirks (swinger girl swinging in from somewere to steal the ball and such, Diggers digging a tunnel to get the ball to the goal.)
