Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Has Finally Reopened | Is it Still Worth Visiting in 2022?

In today's video I take you to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park which just recently reopened after being closed for more than two years due to the pandemic. I give you a full tour of the park and explain the story behind Typhoon Lagoon and I show you some of the new updates. Of course I take you on all of the water attractions plus we have some fun in one of the most insane wave pools in the world. On this day of filming the park wasn't busy at all, so we had a really good time. Finally we grab a bite to eat and I show you the full menu and we grab some mini donuts that you can get which are iconic to this water park. Before I head out for the day I take you inside of the gift shop to see some of the exclusive Typhoon Lagoon merchandise. Hi Dev, I watch a lot of Disney vloggers & I want to thank you for mentioning the wheelchair accessibility! It’s not often someone will include those details in their videos but this isn’t the first video I’ve watched of yours where you’re thoughtful enough to mention about accessibility. @@ThemeParkExpress you know what you do with making sure you pin anyone agreeing with you so all others fall waaaaay down the list. Your attitude toward people that disagreed with you when the bug was new and the parks just reopened. The slightest alternate views disappeared very quickly.

Thanks Dev !!! I’m up in Canada, so getting to a water park at WDW is always a huge treat. I haven’t been fortunate enough to time a Disney trip when TL is open instead of BB since back in winter 2014. I smiled ear to ear for this entire vid. Great memories !!!

It has been about 5 years since being at typhoon lagoon but one thing I loved about this water park was the gusher slides had a disability entrance with an elevator. Still had to wait but didn't have to climb the stairs which would have made our trip very hard on me. Disney is so awesome with how they provide options for those with disabilities. I hope they still offer the elevators.

Everytime I see footage of Typhoon Lagoon it makes me miss River Country lol. Also that sucks about Sharks Reef, but I also get it with Covid and all with mass amounts of guests using snorkel gear. I remember doing the shark swim way back in summer 2001! It was a very hot summer that year. The water was 62 degrees, but weather was 97 to 102!

AWESOME video! I remember going to and enjoying River Country. I’m from Miami Beach so you can’t help but love the water. I’m older now, and due to health issues (lupus) I cannot go in the sun and I don’t go to the beach anymore. But, if I could, you can be sure I would be there with you and Bianca. ENJOY!!!

Yes Shark Reef we miss it! It was a cool experience that they didn’t charge extra for. The water was cold but in the summer heat it was a relief.

Beautiful blue waters and the greenery amongst other neat scenery in the park of including the water slides 👀 looking quite fun to enjoy for fun rides↗👌 Very nice amusement park stated to have different reasons persons may choose to visit; whether be for fun and or foods and or for drinks and or just to see other beauty and or entertainments that's set up in the park for persons to have a good time.😘

Good luck with the cost of living in Orlando. I lived their 17 years and left. Rent/housing prices are insane now and only rising. Not very many good paying jobs in the area either.
