Clean garage has a nice selection of cheap spigots and pumps. They adapt to the gallon jugs sold by most companies. I use the spigots on the gallon DIY detail jugs and they work really well.

Yes, they are pretty cheap, but you got to meet that $249 to get the free shipping. $.50 more on Amazon with free shipping and I don’t buy much from Clean Garage to hit that shipping mark. Spigots on the gallons bottles works great.

To easily measure out detailing liquids, I like using the Pro-Blend portioner for thinner liquids and the CarPro Measure device for thicker liquids. The only drawback to the CarPro Measure device is that it only comes in 500 ml and 1000 ml sizes. The Pro-Blend portioner is available for quart and gallon sizes.

I wish the pro blend worked on thicker liquids and it also seems to dispense much slower in gallon jugs once the jug is less than half full takes way more squeeze.

I use the pump on my R2R gallon, easy to dispense and just tilt the bottle slightly to flush that drip portion out quickly

Hi Kiev 🖐 Thanks for taking the time to do all the research into jugs, bottles, funnels etc! I have noticed a similar 5 gallon rectangular jug that Jon of the Forensic Detailing Channel has in his shop and I was wondering where I could buy them in the US. Thanks to your efforts I know now, so I bought one. It really works great!! I filled it with Koch Chemie Gsf their gentle snow foam, using the gallon screw on funnel that you show cased and it worked great. I was impressed how controlled the soap came out to the spigot so I decided to order more. I went to the manufacture’s web site, Consolidated Plastics and the price is considerably lower and free shipping over a $50 order; so now I have 5 more on the way! Thank you for this great find! 👍👍 Cheers!!.. 🍻

Great bloopers reel! I had one container similar to the Hudson Exchange 5 Liter Hedpak Container with Spigot. It was supposed to be used to keep water cold in the frig. It always dripped if the spout horizontal. Hopefully these work better. I've keep diluted 3D Presoak in a container. It developed mold or at least some type of black goo.

Yeah it doesn’t last as long once diluted. So far so good on the leaking, but we shall see what that gasket goes through with the brake buster. It could fail. I have seen some heavier duty spigots I might try if these fail.

I had a few bloopers in there that were not appropriate. I keep cheap crappy foam cannons for stress relief. I may have broken a few. 🤣🤣

I've got the vertical dispensers for a few rinseless wash solutions for touch up cleaning or whatever. I use it inside the house too haha. But then for rinseless washing, I use those twin-neck proportioner bottles that are 16oz because they're so conveninent and I use those most frequently and it's easy to get the amount I want. Only Absolute and Gloss Shop Rinseless I leave in their regular bottles to pour out because they're thicker.

All are good solutions just depends on your process which is the best fit. I’m really liking pre-diluted soaps and the pour spout. Just can’t leave the diluted for too long as it can go bad now that lots of water is involved and more air in the bottle.

Also griots makes a dispensing spout for gallons that I’ve been eying for my gallon of super clean but really any gallon jugs it’ll fit on

The griots one is exactly what I showed in the video. Im pretty sure it’s the same manufacturer. Amazon has the two pair for $13 which is a little more per unit that Griots, but free shipping so depends on shipping cost. amzn.to/3ToaStr

great video keav! love incredible sud but its really thick, I have actually been premixing in a gallon jug so that its easier for me to put in my foam cannons. That solution has made that soap a much better experience.

This is KILLER. I love incredible suds but I’ve looked at other soaps just because of how thick it is. Great surfactants… Yada yada. Bottom line is that thinner soaps are just better to work with. If I can pre-dilute IS… game changer. I love DIY Details products. Super helpful bro!

Pre-dilution is working well so far especially when filming I don’t have to fill the foam cannon all the way I just put in what I’ll need for the video. Won’t last as long, but the jug only hold up to 5 washes worth. I keep my old soap water when doing one bucket with multiple wash media for the next wash and holds over hood for long periods as long as you have a lid.

A few years ago I got a gallon faucet top from detailed image. It’s like $4 but well worth it for me. Makes it super easy to pour from the gallons without spilling. I don’t like the pumps because they stick out way too high for my shelf. I also use the proportioner for my diy all clean and rinseless

The pump ones. I just opened it up and took the spring out, and it sits flat and still comes back up to pump like normal. Just doesn't have the spring assist. I agree, though the pour ones are better for most all Shelving setups I have.

That’s why I like the shorter 5L gives me more room on the shelves. Seems no matter how cool of a cabinet you get you are still fighting to fit things the way you want. Same with a refrigerator. 🤣

@CarsWithKeav I ended up using the little turn spout from Detail Image, and for things I use, every wash like rinsless. I use the turn style for measuring like you had for the 32 and the gallon.

Omg i need pump dispensers for my DIY and P&S gallon jugs. One ounce a pump and then pop the little cap on is gold.

Works great and advice from a commenter is to tilt a little to catch the excess drip and you are hood. The little rubber caps are a must.

@CarsWithKeav thanks, I just have to figure out which of the 15 pumps you tested is what I need. 😆 I also REALLY LIKE those 5 liter flat side things, but not at 25 bucks each. If they were 10-15 each I'd likely go for it, just to mix APC and wheel cleaner.

I got some cheap thin clear dispensers on Amazon a couple of years ago and they were more for water then anything else and they looked cheap as they cracked and leaked loosing all the content. So then I notice that laundry soap came in a similar dispenser and have been replacing my cheap containers with these units when they were empty and they work fantastic and they are designed to hold soap. I prefer to pre mix all my liquids to the proper ratio and just fill my sprayers when they get low.

I like the locking ability. That’s why I like the smaller 5L one because it fits on my shelf better.

They do not make one, but this one I have heard good things about. Only issue is the orange. It is 12awg so it can handle anything 15amp without voltage drop. amzn.to/3Ts039T Comes in 65ft and 100ft

Great video👍👍👍str8 to my detailing playlist , hey i had a question, i ordered rags to riches from a sale on tik tok for 35$ tax and shipping for the gallon and when it came in the jug was not clear but white , is it real? I dont see any other jugs with a white gallon

White gallons is used in the industry, but never seen a P&S product with them. They are always opaque. I’m not familiar with Tik Tok shop as I deleted that app a few years ago. Does it have the real label? Possibly could have been somebody who bought it in bulk and re-packaging themselves. Wondering if it was the P&S or The Rag Company and they do a limited run with a cheaper container to sell it for less. Usually on Amazon in the clear bottle it’s $42 for a gallon. After buying all these bottles the white ones are usually more expensive though.
