@@GGallade I gotta say, the deck seems a bit underwhelming in a lot of the games I’ve played it in. The only benefit it gets in Master Duel is there is no game two or three. I haven’t exactly heard Floo topping events left and right and winning events either. It is a deck with strong plays but it is so easily interrupted to where you’re stuck with a sub 1,000 attack monster on board and a prayer depending on how you opened.

I think in this case the floo player simply didn't know when to call stri effect and miss it. What would have been best for them is to admit they've done something wrong, and ask where they should have put stris' effect in in order to resolve it. By insisting they can, they're refusing to learn.

The amount of times automatic sims have kept me from unintentionally cheating is literally countless. Locked into "[X]" this, summons from [Not the place I'd thought] that. Coder - YES or NO? Alex41893 - The Adventurer Engine typically is comprised of 8 cards - 3 Rite of Aremisir, 3 Water Enchantress of the Temple, 1 Fateful Adventure, 1 Gryphon Rider, and 1 Dracoback. The combo is very simple, and goes like this: Enchantress searches Rite from Deck. Rite creates the token and then adds Fateful. Fateful searches Gryphon. Gryphon special summons from hand, which triggers Fateful to search Dracoback. Dracoback can be equipped to the Token. That's it. The Adventurer Engine is extremely popular because it can accomplish a lot of things for you before you commit any summons with your other deck engine. The Token itself is crazy strong with 2000ATK and 2000DEF, Dracoback bounces a card back to hand (Doesn't destroy so this removes most problem cards in the game off the board), Gryphon protects you once from anything, and Fateful additionally protects the Token from destruction once as well. It's easy to summon this, and takes a decent amount of resources to remove. Any deck that can utilize this should do so. Decks that summon often love this (such as Prank-Kids) because the Gryphon protects you from Nibiru. It also makes your opponent commit some of his hand traps to preventing Adventurer before you've begun your other main deck engine. For example, If I use Ash Blossom to prevent Enchantress from adding Rite, I lose my best interruption card for Prank-Kids. The DPE Engine is 2 Fusion Destiny, Destiny Hero Celestial, Destiny Hero Dasher, DPE himself, and Verte Anaconda. It's also extremely popular because DPE popping one card for turn is a strong effect and he is very difficult to remove, as any effects targeting DPE can result in DPE chaining its own effect to take itself off the board, only for him to return next turn. He also lowers the attack of all your opponents monsters by 400 while Celestial and Dasher are in the grave. This engine can slide into almost any deck, as long as you can make Verte with relative ease. All of this is easily facilitated by most good decks as you can summon DPE by using the effect of Verte Anaconda, an easy-to-make Link 2 monster, which copies the effect of a fusion spell in your deck. The accessibility of DPE through Verte is why we see it so consistently - I would expect its usage to drop if Verte were banned, as many players are asking for. The DPE engine is chosen over other possible fusions like Dark Dragoon because the supporting cards (FD, Celestial, Dasher) are all strong in their own right - Celestial's ability to draw 2 is incredibly useful in many scenarios, as is Dasher's special summon. Dragoon by comparison requires normal monsters with no additional usefulness to be used for its summon, and Red-Eyes Fusion itself is a bad card compared to FD as it comes with many restrictions as well. Finally, consider how all of this pairs together. Using Prank-Kids as the example again, I can use Ash to prevent the Prank-Kids combo, and the opponent can follow up with the Adventurer cards. I can interrupt this with Ghost Ogre perhaps in response to fateful adventure. My opponent can still continue if he then plays fusion destiny from the hand, and still has a good board with DPE if nothing else. Having Adventurer and DPE opens up many more lines for the decks that use them, making them Tier 1 inclusion for any deck that utilizes it well.

Maybe it was cut out, but coder does what a lot of judges do where they give a rulling and either give a very high level explanation for the reason why something works like x or no explanation at all. I think as judges we need to take better steps to actually give simple explanations to why we are rulling the way we are. Explaining how he said "proceed" at the end of the monarchs resolution passes priority to their opponent, and since theres nothing that activates after that and they passed priority they have missed the activation window of their floo card

This is why I just play master duel, I know it’s not the same, but dodging this type of stuff seems to be better for my time management.

So after a few times watching this, here’s my read on the situation. I think red thought Eidos’s effect worked like Floos, where it causes an immediate Normal Summon. He even tributed his Empen when his opponent instructed him to. My guess is that he then reread Eidos and realized he fucked up, so he brought back Empen in an attempt to rewind the game state and use Stri. This was the dispute that caused the judge call. I think his plan was to claim that blue summoned Erebus too fast for him to use Stri, but when you pointed out that he sent Empen to the graveyard, that was no longer an option. He was forced to claim that was an accident because any other answer would likely get him slapped with a punishment for cheating. Similarly, he could not answer the question on whether or not he allowed Erebus to be summoned because neither answer would end up in his favor. If he says “yes,” then that means he allowed an open board state for blue to Tribute Summon Erebus, red won’t get Stri’s effect, and he’ll just lose. If he answers “no,” then you just point back to where red sent Empen to the bin when blue pointed at it, implying that he did allow the Tribute Summon, which puts him in a losing position AND gets him punished for lying to a judge. The only way red could get out of this was to dodge the question and play dumb, perhaps in hopes that you’d say “Oh, he’s a beginner. No worries, I’ll allow take backsies. I know I shouldn’t assign malice to what could be explained with ignorance, but the way red answered the yes/no questions suggests to me that he knows damn well where he fucked up and that he’s using a judge to try and cover for his mistake. I get the feeling he should’ve been given a more severe punishment-if not for that call, then for the future.
