The print from the fresh leaves is gorgeous, and it would never have occurred to me to try something like this! I have Rosemary and Lavender plants in my garden so am very tempted to use some of each, with a few Basil sprigs too. And if it doesn't work for me, I'll have released some wonderful perfumes, so a win, any way I look at it. Thank you!

Wow, what an awesome technique Robyn, love all the prints you made. Never heard/saw using Distress Ink with alcohol, what a great texture, love that is is also so subtile but still visible. The only thing I startled off was that you put your Distress Oxide on your plate and than went over some of the Oxide witht the regular Distress ink pad. Perhaps you already know this but this you can contaminate your regular pad with the oxide ink and won't get the oxide colour off the regular pad because your Oxide ink is pigment/dye ink fusion. This way you can ruin your regular ink pad. Sorry for mention this but I know a lot of people don't know this. Thank you so much for another fabulous workshop, stay safe and have a wonderful day.

Thank you! yes you have made a good point, that is a word of caution ill make sure to mention this the next time i do the technique. I cross contaminate a lot in my studio LOL but i will make sure to let others know who don't want to do that in their own studio.😊

Have quite a few Distress pads I hardly ever use any more. I do use them as colour sometimes by rubbing some onto palette and adding water to paint with. Never used them on the gelli plate. Thanks for sharing. 😀

These short sessions are my favorite! So to the point. I have a question, though. Do the inks leach onto the back of the papers like the oxides do? It didn't look like it on the video, but I wasn't sure.

I love all your stuff!!! If you get your papers wet when laying them down for collage, won’t they bleed? Some of the products you use

My studio printer is an ink jet and it is more likely to bleed, but I embrace that when it does, I like the bleeding! However, when I don't want my prints to bleed then use laser prints.😊

Question, re using those prints in collage. Are the Distress Oxides permanent colors? Or do they move when you apply matte medium to collage them down?

Just to be on the safe side i always use my matte medium glazing technique on the gel plate that Ive shown previously😊
