Thank you for explaining these terms. I had been coached to roll the paint in one direction and lift off the plate in the other….so the push and pull concepts were confusing to me. I also thought the paint lifting off was because the pressure was too much and the paint was drying. Push and pull has also been used when referring to colours……. I appreciate your help.

Thanks Robyn. My Q: how do I repair my virtually brand new Gel plate? It has developed damaged areas which show up on prints. I honestly believed I was following instructions and caring well for it but it has other ideas...
