Memories are all we have the older we get. Great song by Disturbed. I cry like a baby sometimes and I never did as a kid.

I truly agree that I didn’t spend enough time with my grandparents growing up. I wish I did though.

Those damn 8 tracks. Always jumped to the next track in the middle of your favorite of a song. Lol. Mine is long gone, but it had a record player, AM/FM, 8 track and a cassette player. I must have gotten mine just a bit later than you when cassettes were the up and coming technology, but everyone still had their fav music on vinyl and 8 tracks. I can remember asking for blank cassettes for Christmas and then hovering over the radio for hours to record my favorite song. With the dj or Casey Kasem talking over the intro and outro of course. 😂

Wow that's a great story. Mine did not have a cassette player . I don't think they were around in 68. I still listen to my albums in the basement when I'm doing stuff down there. I do have a bunch of c.d.s now though. Thanks Melly for watching and your great comment.

Dave has an amazing voice. While they have great ballad songs, that's only one of their strengths. All of their songs have some sort of strong meaning behind them. I'm going to recommend "Inside the Fire." It's a pretty powerful one. It's not a ballad type of song like this one. There's a warning at the beginning. It warns that the song deals with suicide. He wrote it after he found his ex after she'd done the deed. VERY powerful song. Another great song is "The Vengeful One." That one is about the control the news has over people. The video is amazing.

I love his ballads. He was classically trained as a cantor which gives him incredible control over his voice/range. BUT...if you're wanting to try out some of his Metal, I'd suggest "Down With The Sickness".

have this title tattooed on my arm since I lost my 2 Sisters 6months and 6 days apart... both have names shown in the video.. all I have now are my memories I was the middle of the 3 Sisters

Sue I am so sorry for your losses. I lost my sister in 2016 to a O.D. At my age all I have is memories of all my relatives. I was going to get a tattoo of my dad's favorite saying on my forearm but I'm scared. Thanks so very much for watching I really appreciate it and please take care.
