This is the metro in Hollywood/La. I ride it pretty often and sadly a lot of bad things happen on there. I see it all the time. Even though this is a social experiment, I’ve actually seen it happen before.

I think this almost happened to me once. Only reason I'm not sure is because I pulled my crazy out of my pocket while dude next to me was side-eyeing me. I waved brightly at the security camera. A different time, a lady sat in an empty bench in front of me. At the next stop, RealDeal Angry "Crazy" sits next to the first lady and starts cursing. At everybody. Especially the first lady. (Oddly not the kid that was close by. Crazy spoke nicely to the kid. Maybe she had some sense after all.) Being that close, Crazy's aggressive vibes could choke a bull. So I grabbed the first lady and GTFO to the next car.

This one I regret: On a bus, a mom and her two daughters sat near me. I stood in the aisle near the rear exit. Mom and younger daughter sat on one side and the older daughter (maybe 13-14) had to fend for herself on the other side. Homeless dude tried to flirt, girl tried to ignore, I tried to figure out what to do. Only thing I did do was stare hard at the bum to let him know I was watching. The part I regret was not saying to the mom that she's ignoring the danger that her daughter was in.

@sonyabyrd8739 oh, I know ^•^ I meant that, if me personally saw a guy touching a woman or her things and she doesn't react angry/scared/uncomfortable that she would switch seats, I'd think they're friends or partners who had a fight or something. But that's my opinion in regards to some minutiae that could make the experiment better (imo). Like, the girl reacting just slightly annoyed and after the guy messes with her for some time, she starts saying she doesn't know him, but he touches her and she doesn't act alarmed or afraid, just annoyed, I'd be hella confused. I'd be hesitant to intervene cause I've seen stuff like that with friends or partners, and even experienced it. Would be annoyed at someone and that someone would try to make me laugh or pay attention to them. I just think that the script can be upped a notch, just by changing the girl's reaction, and the creepiness factor, like touching her hair, smelling her, trying to stay as close as possible, harassment that will probably become sexual harassment, you know. But I only have my perspective, from my country, so maybe this would be extremely alarming somewhere else. If so, I'm sorry for my lack of perspective. I'll try and do better ^•^ thanks for the reply

Women stand up for men more often than they do for other women... At least, that's what I've observed. It would be rare for another guy to intervene, but honestly, I've seen it happen. They will ridicule the woman and tell her she's 'thirsty' and get a whole crowd going. Less people are standing up for anyone nowadays, they just record it to their social media...
