I had planted 3 Bobos in less than full sun and after 2 years, I have one left which I put into full sun. It leafed out immediately. But good luck, the garden looks pretty as always and I love your colors. Cream, purple and soft pastels!

Me too I live in Rhode Island and less than full sun. They did not perform. I scratched the bar and noticed it was still green and I planted and… at least out and began to perform within 2 to 3 weeks during the month of April

What kind of mulch do you recommend and how do you control weeds

Any wood chip mulch will do. I have success with using fine or large size wood chips. As long as you put on 2-3” thick. Happy gardening!

Did do anything to bring back your day daylilies, mine aren't blooming? We have had a couple of usually warm days late this winter, they started sprouting. Now, they look and seem to be dead? Yours always look so lovely❤.

Not sure what’s on your end, but in Rhode Island we plant them in full sun and they bloom well

@@ebbrown8771 Yeah, they were planted in full. They are very common in Illinois and have bloomed in everyone's landscape this Spring. I don't know what happened.
