Amazing stuff, simply loved it...there is one clarity though that i need on the sub woofer, there are 3 sub woofers so technically it should be 9.3.6, why do you still call it 9.1.6, can you please help me under stand the one sub woofer signal piece...I am assuming these are 3 independent subs.
@DivineAV
@DivineAV 5 ай бұрын
Thank you, my friend. The system has now been converted to 9.7.4 using a Trinnov Altitude 16. It was previously running on a maestro X7, which didn’t have enough channels to support the independent subs. You can only truly classify that middle digit as the actual number of subs if they have independent signals sent to them. Thanks for your support.

Super cool room and don’t get me wrong i love my HT but most people either don’t have enough seats for their guests or just plain like having the grand scale of going out to the cinema but with everything there are trade offs so for me personally i watch at home for being more relaxed not having to deal with other annoying people and the quality but when a movie first comes out i go with a group of friends to enjoy the movie with on a bigger scale anyway great room cheers

I’m curious why they put dipoles on the rear wall rather than the side walls? It’s just not typical, and I would like to hear Klipsch’s reasoning.
@DivineAV
@DivineAV 4 ай бұрын
Cornering out dipoles is kind of a trick that is used when the seats are too close to the back wall, but that room has changed now. We deleted the back row and added Klipsch Rf7iii as rears. Dual 18s in the back and 8 18s in the front. Trinnov Waveforming. It’s on another level. We will do an update soon. thanks for watching buddy

NZ7 is usually pumping out 1600-1800 lumens after calibration. On an AT screen of that size (most measure .8-.9 gain or less despite claimed performance), is that enough nits to light it up?

nice room set up with aesthetics i'm ex cinema retired projectionist UCI cinemas tower park , that was running first experimental overhead surround and that was 1989 , also worked for Warner Bros . so i know far bit more about the overhead surround and it even goes further back before i went to cinema early 70's , local gaumont cinema run 70mm cinerama with overhead surround flush x6 in the ceiling very high up . UCI tower park used EV in all ten screens main larger 5 and 6 used x8 overhead surrounds twin 15" large horn for LCR no sw een though required for SR soundtracks the bass mid was satisfactory , the smaller screens 1 to 4 , 7 to 10 used x7 overhead surrounds and same EV screen channels Warner Bros bristol , 12 plex, used KCS from large screen to mid screen the smaller used different KCS model i've worked projected onto real large screens from UCI to Warner Bros my home THX cinema runs below surround, only one of it's kind in the uk . JBL professional cinema PA , x115 JBL speakers at 38.000kw JBL professional cinema PA controls 85% of the cinema market from early regular to early THX sound system days and throughout 85% which is why nearly all dub stages uses JBL and cinemas use JBL , JBL has cool name besides its founder James Boulevard Lansing , Jedi Blaster Lightsabers which is why it was first to be selected by tom holman then everyone else wanted to jump on the THX bandwagon but JBL was first my JBL THX home cinema is enough for 400 seat cinema in a very small room the rack audio uses serious consumer and professional cinema grade Denon AVC-X8500H Dolby atmos when running it , 15.12.6/8 the rest of the system is far too complex to explain Dolby Stereo CP200 Dolby control unit Dolby processor unit Dolby accessory unit Dolby MPU-1 Dolby PSU-1 Dolby A-type Dolby SR Dolby CP500 Dolby CP45 (running as side surround pre arrays and below surround) Dolby CP45 (back surround and centre middle surround and below/above) i can play vintage star wars or close encounters of the third kind in the exact same way, with the Dolby Stereo CP200 thou the CP200 replaced the Dolby Stereo CP100 where the CP200 made in 1980 and is still in use at certain specific cinemas , THX and yes even in my home THX cinema , try doing star wars tonight ,in the proper surround format mode . Sony SDDS Sony Dynamic Digital Sound DFP-D3000 (main) Sony SDDS Sony Dynamic Digital Sound DFP-D3000 (secondary) Behringer DCX x4 Behringer FBQ2496 x4 crossover/monitor Lucasfilm Ltd THX sound system (yes the actual professional cinema grade THX of bass/sub bass that most are scared of) 4k laser projection with wall to wall 120" AT screen so the room is very small . projector is placed in my kitchen where it runs silent with the x66 power amplifiers 38.000kw THX speakers JBL professional cinema PA five screen JBL 4673A that is five behind the screen L Lc C Rc R multi side array side surrounds JBL 8330 mkII x3 each sidewall back surround JBL 8330 mkII x5 overhead surround JBL 8330A x9 that uses worlds first triple middles vog (don't use auro) got my own idea for a vog that is called DOG Dolby overhead god (and i don't believe in god he took away my Cat, Sooty) oh i said i did know a bit about "overhead surround" with experience with it in 1989 at UCI tower park, i have a video on that shows the pictures below surround matrix , it's complex to explain this only few would understand the overhead surrounds are basically stereo pairs , and therefore it is easy to expand ! so no more centre-phantom there is true centre overhead per each (al are attached to the ceiling) height 1 front , 2 middle and 3 back there is a extra channel output that i use that i placed decided to place smaller JBL control 1 speakers on the floor . these are called the extra channels that come from heights 1 , 2 and 3 there is also another below matrix surround channel that comes from the regular surround channel . i have done hours of testing and its not a case of just listening it involves looking at the both the visual on/off-screen sound continuities , its a complex listening THX home cinema . sub bass and no big deal as the sub bass freq curve should follow the same to as the screen/surrounds channels and be within tight tolerance across the seating within +- 2dB of the THX 66 amplifiers Behringer x3 NX3000/ x2 3000D/ x1 inuke / x7 EPQ / L Lc C Rc R LF bass stage channels - L Lc C Rc R HF horns - sub bass L R - sub bass middle front and back of room - below surround - extra below surround - overhead Alesis x2 aura bass tactile shakers Crown CTs8200 x3 - surrounds - back surrounds - centre middle surround - overhead surrounds - extra below surrounds x6 Irwin cinema rocker seats each fitted with aura bass tactile shakers floor is carpet with wall/ceiling covered with wedge foam tiles so there is no slap echo heard only the movie soundtrack or music on non-sync mode and my Cats

We have a VPL-VW5000ES that way put on display when a client books a reservation for demonstration. We recommend that the Projectors in the video are used for screens ranging from 120 to 150 inch max. It’s definitely doable to go beyond but really only when watching SDR content.
