What gets me is that whole "she's a wife and mother first" thing coming out of his mouth, like NO. First and foremost she's a woman and a person, then wife and mother. Her existence and life are not wholly defined as a wife and mother, but individual with needs, wants and emotions which he needs to cater to as his wife and mother of his children just like she is already doing for him. Props to him for considering it his duty to be a protector and provider, but there's a difference between a protector and a babysitter. He just doesn't take her seriously as a woman and a person.

It's always the scrubs who aren't doing their part in the marriage who are quick to tell other people what they are supposed to be. This dude says that she's "supposed to be a wife and a mother first," while he has no interest in being "a husband and father first." He wants to put his rap career before his wife and kids but wants her to put him above everything else. If you want to call yourself the "head of the household" then lead by example. Do YOUR job first before you cry about everyone else's job.

This dude didn't even have any real complaints about her. He's mad that she doesn't cheer on his rap career more. Like, what more is she supposed to do? It doesn't seem like she is trying to stop him from doing anything. She seems more supportive of his rap "career" (pipe dream) than most people would've been. These two can work out their issues if they just work on it. Nothing really seemed too big to deal with. He has to be a bit more present. I think that's all that she really needs from him. Hope it works out for them.

The main problem I see in this relationship, and alot of relationships that I see end up in front of Judge Toler on Divorce Court is, alot of men out here want to be SINGLE with married benefits. You can't be out all night gallivanting in clubs in the name of " Chasing Your Dream" and expect your wife to be ok with it. It's just not real life. GROW-UP!!!!!
