I see where she's coming from because...take a second and look a the comments and jabs he takes at her in court. For example the story she told about asking for milk for her baby ..he gives her $5 and still wanted something to drink.

I see myself and my babys father in this episode… my childs father is VERY nonchalant about damn near EVERYTHING. And most times he acts if he cant think himself out of a paper bag… but tells me im always angry when HE’S THE REASON.

Huh??? I’m really surprised with the comments on here about this woman and how selfish she is, or that she is a “gold digger” What part about what she said makes her selfish??? And what gold is she digging for? Asking for milk for your daughter isnt exactly out of the ordinary. All he spoke about was his expenses for unnecessary things (as to why he can’t provide for his daughter) and never said anything about his daughters needs. The plaintiff asked for milk for their daughter (doesn’t sound selfish to me) and he handed her $5 and asked for a drink??? Whose selfish?? So what if she got her hair an nails done every now and then! She clearly took care of her daughter and probably sacrifices things that she needs and wants to make sure her daughter has everything! She is the primary care taker and going to work, so if every now and then she wants a little self care and get her hair and nails done, I don’t see the issue. He is barely with their daughter and he takes care of his own needs and wants first and foremost, so why isn’t he the selfish one? Why does she get a bad rap? What exactly has she done that is so wrong? By his own admission, he didn’t have a stable job, he provides for himself and his “bills” first which is why he can’t give much for his daughter, despite the fact that he lives with his parents, he doesn’t physically have his daughter with him, he is wearing blingy jewellery, it doesn’t look like he has missed a meal. As for her, she at least had a stable job as a CNA and has a qualification, she works consistently now, she provides for her daughter, she puts her daughters needs above her own, she has her daughter full time and goes to work, despite asking him for some financial support and not getting it, she still makes sure her daughters needs are met, she has a full time job and is a full time parent, so if every now and then she wants a little “me” time and she gets her hair and nails done, she deserves it. Men complain when women let themselves go! Men complain when women work and don’t take care of the home as well, men complain when women don’t work, men complain if they are a stay at home parent and don’t get enough recognition for it (but don’t give women that same recognition,) men complain if they are making all the money or all the financial responsibilities are on them… etc etc this woman is doing it all and this man isn’t doing a thing! His money is for him. His time is for him. He complains if she asks for money, even if he doesn’t give it to her. So what the $&@! Is everybody going on about? How has she come out the bad guy?

13:00 is where’re the issue actually makes sense. He is a “demand and I’ll see if I can” kind of dad rather than a consistent provider for their child. She asks for money for nails because he does not provide for their child how he should. Both have attitude issues and it’s heartbreaking. He may continue the way he is (dead beats are nothing new) she needs to let it, heal and be happy for her child. Hopefully they both healed and are happy separately now.

Women should not have to ask their child's father for support it should automatically be given, this is why they are child support courts and women needs to take them to court
