Kayli this scared me so much because I thought you and Casey were getting divorced. Im so sorry about your parents. Divorce IS hard. I was 17 when my parents split and even though it was very necessary for safety reasons, it was STILL a lot to grieve and process and relearn. Praying the Lord comforts you and that you remember to find the good and when you’re too overwhelmed by the sad, don’t be afraid to cry it out. Love you ma’am! ♥️

Lots of love right back to you, Kayli! I’ve been working through the feelings that divorce brings, for 26 years. It’s still hard after all these years. The new life and the new relationships is the hardest I find. You want to be happy for them but it’s hard. I’ve been in therapy for 3 years and am finally feeling like I’m accepting it. The void will never be filled, but a lot of healing comes through acceptance.

I used to worry about my parents divorcing even into my adulthood. Until my mother died and saw the absolute devastation my father went through. Knowing nothing I could say or do to help him. There is no pain greater than watching your superhero ball his eyes out. It's the first time in almost 40yrs I've seen him cry. Then watch him everyday after pretending he is okay knowing inside he is lost and hurting.

Kayli, although it can be hard to talk about, your honesty about your struggles brings comfort to those who are also struggling as it helps us see we are not alone. As much as this season is a joyous time, it also seems to simultaneously be one of the hardest times of the year for many of us. It may be because a loved one passed during this time, or a breakup occurred, a job was lost, it's the first time we are experiencing Christmas after a divorce etc. Somehow it can often be extra painful this time of year when everyone around us is (seemingly) celebrating while we are broken inside. My heart goes out to anyone who is going through a hard time this season. You are NOT alone. Take care of yourself. Be kind to yourself. You are doing the best you can. Even if it doesn't feel like possible, you will navigate these waters and become so much stronger.

Click baiting someone else's divorce is wild. "Not mine to talk about" while talking about it.
@carol1648

She never click baited anything she is still their child, their daughter. She has every right to be upset and have all the emotions she is showing. She vlogs her life, and this happens to be a part of it. And she chose to title it what she did. Why?? Because divorce is HARD.. TF stop reaching for a reason to bash her. She is human just like everyone else. Also, who's to say someone else isn't going through the same thing... struggling to cope as a grown adult in a situation like this. She may have helped one person... cleary, that wasn't you today, and that's ok. Not every video is someone's cup of tea. Just be kind. Be compassionate. You never know what someone is going through. PS. She clearly had permission to speak on this now, or she wouldn't have put it in a video. Have a fabulous day ❤❤❤

Just because you thought it was referring to Kayli and Casey doesn’t mean it’s clickbait. lol she said in the title “Divorce is hard” and she’s saying it as a daughter of recently divorced parents. Divorce is definitely hard on family, even if the kids are adults!

You and 251 people must be miserable to make a women feel bad when you see her crying over her parents divorce.if you weren't listening, she said "it wasn't my story to tell, but it probably is NOW or she wouldn't be talking about it. It's not clickbait if her parents got a divorce ..YOU assumed her being 6 months pregnant she's divorcing which is weird.just be kind when someone's crying, geeez

Nobody has said she can't cry over her parent's divorce? I'm sure it's extremely difficult. If you'd like to read over my comment, it clearly says "click baiting someone else's divorce is wild". This video has more views than the majority of her videos in the last 2 years...the clickbait worked. Also, slightly unfair of you to assume a woman who is 6 months pregnant can't get a divorce? @@naylaleifson9022

It’s not click. Being a child of divorce affects you so much. And it is hard. I’m in my 30’s and my parents divorced a few years ago and I have cried more that ever… like wept. So no, saying “divorce is hard” as a child of divorce is not click bait and for you to claim it is is disrespectful. I’m not trying to be mean. But as a child of divorce it has been so hard.

two years ago my grandparents got divorced, and one of them is now with a new partner. I can relate to how you feel, the first year was really hard for the family. On the one side, everyone wants the best for them and wants their happiness, but on the other, it is natural to feel hurt and feel like they are "moving on from the family" somehow. I wish you all lots of strength for the holidays, the first of every occasion was really hard on us too! Grief does get better, and at some point hopefully the pain will lessen and be replaced with genuine happiness that they are happier now and that this was the best for them.

@lynnadams1965 I'm so sorry you're having to experience that. I know that would be so hard and upsetting. Yes, the remaining parent is the one who hurts the most but the kids hurt too. So instead of one grief, it's two grief's plus confusion. I hope that your dad finds comfort and that you can forgive the hurting part of it and work on repairing the relationship with your dad, no matter what he is doing. Saying a prayer for you today and wishing you a Merry Christmas anyway - Jesus loves us and that's really all we need to hold onto.

@@Boston-prince I think the hurt for my sister and I came from the fact that he refused to spend any holiday with us. Refused to talk to us. Told my sister he was only a part of our lives for so long because of my mom. And then moved in with someone he knew less than three weeks. While also refusing to heal with us as a family. My mom prepared us before she passed away and said he’d do something like that. But we didn’t think it would be that fast. What sucks is she keeps him from seeing us, we are adults I get it. But he was always a part of our lives and now we rarely see him. Which I guess is what he wanted. We lost both parents. He couldn’t heal with his kids so he lost his wife and kids.

@@eponine318 thank you. I hope so too. But I’m not sure. He said a lot of hurtful things to us after my mom passed and my sister and I think it was to distance himself so we wouldn’t feel hurt when he got into another relationship quickly. He’s also mentally unstable so it wasn’t completely blindsiding. Just a lot to deal with after losing my mom and now losing my dad but he’s still alive.

this video hit me right in my heart. i am only 22 and so i haven't known my parents together for the time you have, but my parents got divorced last year, 15 days before my wedding and my heart was shattered. i truly didn't think i was going to survive. there is so much pain, heartache, and honestly some anger when it comes to divorce. there are times where it hurts and feels like the end of the world, but also times where you are reassured that everything is going to be okay. please remember that no matter what, your parents love you and always will! i know it's easier said than done, but i try to remind myself that there is a plan and a reason why these things are happening. we will see it all come together and make sense one day. until that day, feel your emotions. let yourself be sad or mad or angry or even happy. hug your babies tight and know that you have an army behind you, supporting and loving you through all of this!

Divorce can be so hard. My parents divorced when I was 9 but they actually got along so much better that way as opposed to married. Though I do feel like the older you get the harder it is to see that happen because that’s more years and makes its all the more shocking. It feels strange right now and will for a little while but after a while it feels normal again. I am sending all my love to you and the family during this healing process. ❤❤❤ To help the littles understand what happened with their grandparents it helps to remind them that its okay and sometimes this happens but it can help to be like we get to have more holiday celebrations with each grandparent. You can have more one on on time with both of them individually. It can help put it in a more positive perspective. ❤❤❤

Age and location doesn’t make a difference. Unless someone’s been through it you can’t understand. I get it. I’m sorry.

my heart stopped when i saw the title, i’m so sorry to hear about your parents Kayli. back in 2021 my parents had separated after 20+ years of marriage. it was my dad’s decision to leave and it left my mom completely heart broken. for weeks i (at 19) had to take care of my mom who was severely depressed and suicidal, it was the hardest thing i’ve ever had to do, i was mortified of going to work and leaving her at home by herself but i had no choice. a few weeks later my parents got back together, before separating and then coming back together once again. if i’m being completely honest i am so ANGRY at my mom for going back to him. i’ve never seen her get hurt so bad and when he left she had told us she wouldn’t take him back. and then he came back and she took him back like nothing had happened, i ended up going through severe depression, in and out of our mental health center, meds, therapy. i’m still on meds since all of that happened, it messed up my brain chemistry in a way i never would’ve thought. i was torn between wanting to take care of my mom who was not doing well at all and my dad who moved out and trying to see him as much as i could because i was also worried about his mental health. my sister and i always said that if they hadn’t had my sister so young (20-21) they most likely would not be together anymore. i grew up in such a toxic household, and unfortunately i still live here, i like to think it’s gotten better but honestly i think i’ve just learned how to cope with it. the fact that my dad is narcissistic and is an alcoholic makes things harder. i unfortunately had to grow up much faster than most people my age. i’m turning 22 soon, still to this day people tell me how amazed they are at how mature i am for my age. i love you Kayli! 🩷

@@elizabethb1096 don’t speak like that about any person who has been dead for 10 years! Despite how their personality were! That’s disrespectful! He committed suicide that’s how he died! If you don’t know who Paul Walker is or maybe you’re thinking of someone else, he committed suicide while filming a scene in Fast and Furious! If he is such a bad person, then why did he have friends? That song that is featured by by Charlie Puth? “See You Again”? It’s actually about Paul Walker! If you think that he was such a bad person, then why that song tells how much Charlie Puth is going to miss Paul? And not like for example “Good Riddance, Paul”

My parents are separated. They haven’t been together for 2.5 years I’m 31 now. It’s been hard my kids did t get it. My oldest. Would cry because she didn’t understand why we’d have to leave one to see the other. It’s been a very hard the first year sucked. My emotions were every where. But now I can manage both parents and separate the time as needed. It’s a hard thing to have to deal with. It’s very emotional and can be draining. But it does get better .

I know this is so hard, my parents Divorced when I was about your age. One thing to keep in mind is IF they could have made it, they would have and this has nothing to do with you! Life is short so wouldn't you rather them live what is left of their life happy? They don't love you any less so please don't love them less. Also, great job with the kids and the elf! Stick to your guns on this💕
