1. Don't be a gatekeeper 2. Support the other person's parenting 3. Verbal and emotional abuse rarely stick 4. Don't speak ill of the other parent 5. Don't put children in the middle 6. Don't overreact 7. Don't lie 8. Managing your own behavior inside and outside the court room 9. Have realistic expectations

Thank you for posting the cliff notes. She repeats her one point several different ways for the kids in the back. I feel like liking the sound of one’s voice is not reason to harp over and over and over loop by loop while giving the same information in a different way. No one should like the sound of their own voice as much as she does.

@@rarebloom2471 That’s uncalled for. Saying the same thing in different ways is very common when explaining information and is very helpful. That’s the point of the video, to explain things to us.

My ex is an addict and undiagnosed npd. I was emotionally abused over 10 years which is hard to prove. I have however pics of his pot farms at his place and our daughter is 14 now and can attest to him being high while driving etc. after watching this video, I realize that I need to focus only on the things he’s doing that are not safe. And I actually do wish that my daughter would have a better relationship with her because they were only cause her more grief about men going forward. One of the things that my ex used to do to me is at least every month leave me for two days at a time with his phone off. I wish I could prove it! It was horrible…..and my daughter now doesn’t even want to see him because he’s been hiding a new relationship also.

Can you get a court appointed lawyer in a custody battle I have a case and they gave me and the mother both physical and legal custody but the mother objected it and what is the chances of the judge change what they already decided

So I'm a single father I have been the soul care Provider of my daughter since she was born my ex wife committed infidelity deleted the evidence and abandoned me and our daughter when our daughter was 9 months old and went without any contact for 3 1/2 months and now years later she is threatening me with court how do you think court would go for me in all honesty I wasn't full custody because she does not have good choice in men for example the last man she was with cheated on her with his own sister and I dont want them kind of people around my kid on top of her always planting the responsibility on whoever else is around her whenever she needs to do something for the kid how can I win in court cause I'm really worried about my daughters future

Have as much evidence of her cheating as u can. Also have evidence of her not wanting anything to do w your daughter

Help!!! I'm a disabled Navy nurse and I have custody of my oldest boys from my first marriage. My second husband had our two kids taken to please his mom who wanted to use them f😢 money. I'm a veteran that has had her 14 amendment rights violated. I know the big question is," what did you do that allowed this to happen?" Well, I allowed our son to be adopted because I love him and they were going to take him into the hell my only daughter is currently in. I have a better relationship with my son I let be adopted than I do my daughter. My name has slandered, the lady that got her isn't even kin to my husband so she lied,she is in contempt of every court order and she and my husband's mom have committed ssa and tax fraud. I can prove stability, I have my oldest boys and I can show evidence that I am what is in best interests for Arabella however I petitioned two years ago and dhr denied to sign for them and I am still waiting for a court date. Please pray for Arabella to come home to me and her brothers 😢

If judge makes recommendations to the father to keep the bonds of a 3rd party relative and their family in tact and the judge clearly expresses the importance of bonding.......and this father ignores the judge and denies the family members access..... does the judge see this as blatant disrespect to the court and detrimental to the child.? Will judge address this at the next hearing. I'm an aunt who had kinship for 3 years until bd showed up 2 years later. Childs mom is an addict...not able to be a mom. Then he got temporary custody, and is not communicating........I have one weekend......he allows no phone calls. Thanks.

Sometimes the court expresses something without making it an actual order. You want to look back at the court’s orders and see if there is an actual violation. This is tough because parent’s have constitutional rights and are allowed to decide who the children have contact with and when.

Awe I’m so sorry to hear this. You seem like a loving concerned relative. Hopefully you can get more calls. The dad probably wants to cut the chain off slowly. Keep praying and enjoy your time you’re getting.

I have 50/50 right now with my narc ex. I’ve been at stay at home mom for our 11 year old child since day 1. All of the sudden I become the spouse who takes a permanent “vacation” because all I do is sit at home! Me not working caused a narc injury and that just spiraled down hill. We are divorced and going on 3 years since he left us. He is fighting me on child support with his attorney, knowing he makes well over $80k a year. He kept all child tax credits, returns, stimulus, and a small business loan from the government. As pro se and broke, I don’t know if I can recoup any of that money? Can I report him to the IRS??? He never had a bank acct with me and never gave me $$ so myself and our child could do activities. He never had me sign any tax returns and always kept the return for himself. He basically left us with nothing and got away with it. Being pro se and broke has really fucked me over. I’m scared he’s going to get our child. Advice?

In Sweden the mother/woman can do all these things without problem. In fact a good idea is to do them and also to make false allegations against the father, try sexual abuse or similar. In Sweden hearsay is counted as evidence so the mother can just tell her friend or a women organisation and then this will count as additional evidence. The man/husband is guilty til proven innocent. Sounds exaggerated?..., well I'm living through this myself and have asked several attorneys who says the same. I'm still fighting my way through this now. Two years of harassment and false allegations by my ex. Next up is trying to prove I'm innocent of the false allegations. After that I have to try protect my daughter against the emotional psychological abuse from the mother. The legal system in Sweden needs to learn more about covert narcissism, NPD, BPD in women.

How about if the mom is a drug addict and she never had the kids and the father had the kids from birth after they was released from the hospital from detoxing from drugs, and Cys placed the kids with the father the mother hasn’t played no major roles in the kids life
