Divya Dutta in her initial years did not get success as a heroine, the main reasons being that one she did not have any qualification or proper training in theatre, she did not do any professional acting course, she started acting as she wanted to pursue her hobby and she toiled & worked very hard in her initial years. The second reason I feel that she did not get good directors who could tap her talent and show it on the big screen. Divya realized in her early days that instead of doing lead roles, it was better to do roles like sister, friend to the lead heroines,in order to survive in the film industry. She got her due in Boota Singh & her work got finally appreciated. Her voice is husky & magical, even if somebody had identified her this talent at that time, she would have lent her voice in the background at many places. 1994 to 2023...she is still there at that itself is enough proof of the talent that she possesses. Opportunities are plenty now a days, actors dont limit theirselves to movies, there is tv and there are plenty of web series where Divya Dutta can showcase the immense talent that she has. I personally like Divya Dutta of the first decade of the 21st century as compared to her initial years from mid 90s to 2007. Wishing her the very best !!❤

Amazing episode, Hoshang sir. I hadn't known about the reason behind her struggle till this episode. I've been a huge fan of Divya mam when I first saw her in her serial, Shanno Ki Shaadi, and also Veer-Zaara movie. Aaj bhi jab unhe parde par dekhta hoon, tab mujhe itna khushi milti hai ke jaise apne hi didi ko dekh raha hoon badhiya kaam karte hue.
