YorkshireForever101 I just passionately believe that all people, regardless of where in the World they are from, have the right to self-determination. This was a case of some American states exercising their legal & constitutional right to secede from the Union after Lincoln issued the Morril Tarrif that would've saved the US economy at the Southern State's expense. Slavery had NOTHING to do with it but, as they say, history is written by the victor. I hope that someday the Confederacy becomes a reality once again

California is Native American territory; especially due to the high number of Mexican population, (especially from the Mexican states of Oaxaca and Michoacan) JEJEJE Rest assured that if it was not for the indigenous Mexicans of Michoacan and Oaxaca, the Kardashian-Jenner family would be the one that would make the entire west coast independent. Which would be a miracle, because it would be like the "Holland of America", with freedom, modernity, science and equity. JEJEJE

@InsertAccount I think you just don't agree that pride is bad. Yes, we're all humans. It makes just as much sense to identify with and take pride in the ancient Chinese heritage of inventing paper and gunpowder as a western European American as it does to identify with and take pride in the heritage of the South. They are both equally 'your people'. At least in the eyes of God. You can group people together and pretend you're a different species but it's just your imagination. During the war European military observers traveled with the armies of the North and South. An observer with Lee was watching the Confederates march past and remarked on the backs of their coats being so threadbare. Replied Lee, "It makes no difference. The enemy never sees their backs."

You should look into the flaws of your personality! If your observation is insulting, condescending, and notes only your perception of an individual's appearance, what does that show of your education, bathos, and mental age ratio to your chronological age? Immature and biased. There are 3 facets you need to consider; self-esteem (the value you place upon yourself), self-image (do yousee yourself as fat, skinny, superior...?), and self-perception (your interpretation of how others perceive you). The people in the video are having a good time. Why do you cast an aspersion on them? I admit to you I don't respect you due to your comment. Don't bother to respond as I've "black-holed" your address.

I don't see the confederate flag as racist. It's a symbol of history, and one that should be preserved. Its values have changed from seceding from the USA to a celebration of southern culture. To have the Dixie flag go down in Dixie lands is a disgrace to America itself.

Greetings from Rio Grande do Sul, the southern most state of Brazil! This is by far the state with the most vivid culture of our country and the people here (gaúchos) are also very proud of it and celebrate our victory in the war we had with the north, the Ragamuffin War. Everything here resembles the South of the United States, the culture, the cuisine, the people, the history and also the patriotism that we all have for our heritage. There are more people here who can sing the anthem of our state than there are people who can sing the anthem of our country. May the culture of both Southern Brazil and Southern US live forever!
