DIY Adjustable Sofa Table

My father had been complaining for years that he needs something to be able to take notes in his sofa. I came across this example from Fisher's Shop where he built an adjustable sofa table for his father and decided to give it a try myself with some minor tweaks to fit my workshop/living room. My Father is delighted with the result and has been using it for a couple of weekends now.
** Used materials **
Plywood 18mm thick
Oak panel (they have these ready made at your hardware store)
Beech trim rod 15mm diameter
Polyurethane finish
** Used tools **
Screws
Wood Glue
Drill
Handsaw
Pockethole jig
Speedsquare
Clamps
Screwdriver
Circular saw

What is the reason for wasting time watching something with no narrative or subtitles like watching a cartoon. Quit wasting your time.

@@rolturn thanks alot Fishers is great. A good craftsman with a good sense of humor. I watch alot of his. Maybe it's me but I think people watch videos to learn

@@robinhood3112 yep, as a novice hobbyist, I watch them to learn new techniques and better understand construction of furniture. I was actually surprised to see someone building the DIY version and posting it on KZfaq, when clearly it looks like he was copying Fisher's constuction.

@@rolturn To me that is like the guy on a page that was trying to sell Steve Goods plans (which are free on his site) anything to get some clicks.

Hi guys, I indeed based this build completely on Fisher his beautiful version, as I also mention in the description! Unfortunately I do not own a shop like Fisher and hence do not have a planer, table saw, hollow chisel mortiser... So I adjusted his design to be made with a much smaller workshop. Hopefully at least you learned something from watching this video, if anything that you could try to make something as cool as Fisher his design as a beginner with a small shop as well @rolturn Your comment has made me think about adding narratives into my next video's, so thank you for the tip 👍
