DIY AUTUMN DECOR PROJECTS USING 11 COMMON THRIFT STORE ITEMS

In this video, I create numerous autumn home decor projects using thrifted items and a few things from Dollar Tree. These projects include knob pumpkins, an upcycled wreath, a candle stand centerpiece, a fall flannel sign, stuffed acorns, a lamp turned lantern, repurposed kitchen appliances (coffee grinder, scale, and toaster), and a seasonal clock. @@CanterburyCottage hi Sherry, yes I wud luv to see how u do sweater pumpkins, I know u will hav an easier way than some other tutorials I’ve seen. I see u got a heated cutting wand, for foam , how did u like using it, compared to knife sawing? Also I buy the mini dry pumpkin pods!! I love decor with those!!! Great video!!!

@@kelleyhawk6595 Oh, my goodness, why didn’t I know about the heated wand sooner?! There is absolute no mess, and it is like cutting butter. I do wish I would have spent a little more and bought a better one. The wand is so thin, I feel it is going to break. I guess I’ll buy a better one when that happens. I just found a bag of those pumpkin pods at Goodwill for 99 cents! You bet I grabbed them up-so cute!

I remember on your earliest videos, you had some sound problems, but even with that, I knew your channel was going to grow. You are so creative and your projects are so different from what everyone else is doing. Your sweet personality and voice make your videos a joy to watch and then there are your amazing creations. I remember those sound problems (and people who are just now watching them for the first time remind me).😜 When I realized the audio was corrupted on the video where I redid a cabinet for my dining room, I burst into tears. I had worked so hard on that video and that cabinet, and there was no way to fix it. Thank you for sticking with me! 🥰

It is nearly impossible to choose just one favorite! They all are absolutely amazing, especially the door knobs. The acorns were adorable, too. I will be doing every one for our shop which helps the children of our community with shoes, socks, books, school supplies, and so on. Thank you for sharing your talent.

It is unbelievable to me how you can transform even the ugliest hunk of junk into something beautiful. And I really love how well you explain each detail of the process along the way. I have never said this to any other crafter. I loved loved loved every single one of your projects. It doesn’t hurt that they are all in my taste of decor. And you didn’t just take a dollar tree pumpkin and glue it to a dollar tree frame you actually took all things which I love and created something new. I look forward to your videos! My fav was the lantern made from the wooden lamp base. This has been a very difficult year for my family. I lost a sister in January, a brother in April and my son in May. Watching craft videos and doing a few diy’s of my own have given me something to take my mind off my grief for a short time each day.
