For most people, the material I make a journal out of today would probably be trash and end up in the garbage can. But I think you can understand why I couldn't throw away this bubble wrap envelope, but had to make a journal out of it!

I have a sign that says “weird is the side effect of Awesome”………The packaging you used for the journal is Great. It’s like a "puffer” jacket of journals 😂😂😂😂😂 I like the wonkiness of everything…..

I love this and the spine is wonderfully adorable, I have kept my envelopes from there they are to cute to toss, now I have something to use them for, thank you. I might have to cheat and make a spine like yours, too cute!!!

Ha! You must have heard me the other day. I got a package from Amazon & was complaining that even when I buy from them I get bubble wrap envelopes instead of the sturdy packaging you guys use so often in projects. And ta da 🤷‍♀️ And absolutely love this envelope! I wish all manufacturers turned their packaging into cool material to use in art & craft

The Ranger Ink envelope is wonderful. I think I make something out of an envelope like that a long time ago, and I cut off the little glued sides so that the padded piece was trice as long, then just cut off that sticky part. LOL. Of course, that made it much thinner too. LOL

Oh no not taking Barbara ( 49 dragonflies, utube besty friend) message! 😮 😂 💞 Those bubble envelopes are getting prettier all the time! I got a cute little purple one in the mail the other day 💜. I will be watching how you work with the cheap craft paper in future videos as i feel this paper breaks down faster .

you can always use baby powder over sticky areas to "unstick" it. I do this all the time. Tim Holtz has an product for this.

By monk do you mean the little one that sits on your shoulder and whispers good ideas? In American English, we tend to call that an angel. I've never considered naming mine. I usually just yell lightbulb! I love the journal so far, and can't wait to see what you do with it.

No, it's everything else, but not an angel lol. I didn't know that this word isn't existing in English 🤣 it's like an invisible creature that tells you things to do, but that's those weird things that no one else can understand

Very happy for you! Love the journal! Very cool about your grandmother's scrap fitting perfectly there!! Those linen buttons are hard to find in the states and are expensive to order from gals in Europe! If you ever aquire some, you could swap them for something from the states that you have trouble finding in Europe! 😉👍❤ Thanks for the tutorial! ❤

I have the canvas bag I got free with an order a couple years back. From SSS I do believe. It looks like this envelope or very close it it. I do wish they made paper like this. However you could prolly scan it in n use for personal use.

I have a needle dedicated to sticky materials. You can also clean them with alcohol very easy

No! Not muse. Isn't that word existing in English? 😳 It's an invisible creature that says: perfectionism! perfectionism! And it tells me to do things, for example ehm, glueing everything in one line, or making white splatters and so on. Does that make any sense?

I love this. Question, if you cut the envelope to the size to fit your paper, then ironed the envelope, would that seal the cut ends?

Oh, that's a good question! Have never done that, but I assume that would also melt and destroy the bubbles around the edges of the envelope
