DIY: EASY F150 Leveling Kit Spacer Install, No Specialty Tools Needed!!!!

1.5" Leveling Kit Install on my 2018 F150. In this video I show a simple install of a 1" strut spacer without using any specialty tools (Like spring compressors, etc.) I believe this install is the same for multiple year F150 trucks.

Looks good, those black rims are nice. Put a 1.5 inch motofab level on my 2020 STX, leveled it out perfectly 39 inches front and back.

Did mine today, and don’t forget to spin the strut base 180 degrees due to the spacer rotates the bolt pattern by that much

Your tire shop did you a favor by swapping out those lug nuts, not sure why their not recalled. My 2015 F150 got so bad when I hit them with the impact every one spun to the point nothing (I had) would break them loose. Same thing happened to my son's Jeep, both ended up in the shop costing $$ to rectify. However you can find a set for each wheel online for about the cost of one nut at the tire shop. Great video, I like not removing the hub.

I just bought the rough country 2 in lift with the lifted struts do you think I can do this without taking out the whole arm? Or do you think it’ll be harder to put the new strut it without take off the whole assembly? Thanks for your time

I got a 04 f150 i want to put a 3inch leveling kit off amazon, But i also recently put in new oem front upper ball joints and new control arms So my question is would it hold up the lift on stock suspension parts ? And stock wheels

Did you have to change the angle of the struts to get them to realign?

In this case no, with the space on you basically change the strut 180 degrees. You will not have to worry about the compressed bolts on the bottom of the strut if you replaced them with a hex head bolt and nuts.

Did you switch struts around between sides? So the old driver side is now the passenger side

I did not end up swapping them side to side.. I was about to twist the lower pins in the bushings to line up correctly after flipping the struts..

My 2' level still have rake I think 2.25 to 2.5 is for nearly perfect level

1.5", still has a decent amount of rake, did a 2" kit on another truck and it still wasn't actually "level".

I did just to be safe so I didnt risk having to remove the struts again..

@@stephenrickettsNL love it, still just a touch higher in the rear, but far better stance than stock without looking like I NEEDS bigger tires.
