Congratulations! Nice work on the saw. Try putting a Bahco 51-25 (24”) dry wood blade on it. You will love how fast it cuts!

Very nice saw and video man! I see you put the cross piece up higher than others so it can cut larger diameter logs. Has this been an issue with the "less" leverage to tighten the blade? I'm going to build my first bucksaw and wonder where is the best place to put the center cross piece. Thanks for any advice!

I have noticed a bit less torque with the cross peice a bit higher. Although I haven't noticed it being loose. I just need to tighten it a bit more. This may wear the bankline a bit quicker? But hey, bankline is cheap! Thanks so much for watching my friend and good luck with your project.
