Also use thin cardboard between your misalignment spacers and your steel plate during welding. It will give you a little space so it doesn’t draw too tight to get the helm back in after welding.

Thanks for watching. And I’ve seen a couple other guys run 90deg and never really understood it too much as to why. I thought they would bind too. And yes we ended up finding a way to help with the metal not coming in when welding. But we made a big mistake on that one mount and spent lots of time trying to fix it. Hahaha.

Ahhh good to know. I figured it really didn’t make much of a difference on which side you have it on. Just need to make sure it clears everything.

If I wasn’t trying to keep a steering box I would definitely double tri the front.

No real plans yet. We typically see hanging points a little further back on the chassis when wheeling, like the rear mounts always get hung up. We are hoping this won’t effect things too much. And thanks for watching. Sorry about the long break.
