The kit I bought has the right fitting BUT it has fine threads and I need coarse thread..... It's the adapter that goes where the damper is located.

Thank you for watching. Do you have a link to that kit you bought? I wouldn't mind checking it out.

Brother, that was awesome! I have a 2000 accord 2.3 I got from my daughter and have replaced fuel pump and yesterday the injectors due to stalling etc. It rode fine yesterday, but today I went to start and it stalled - took a few minutes to restart...seems like the pressure was off. I'll get gauge to check as well, but not sure what else to check after replacing pump and injectors - wondering if air in fuel line or something considering they are rusty...daughter had on line cut off and portion replaced with rubber hosing - maybe that causes pressure fluctuations? Thank you Sir.

Thank you for watching. I appreciate that. Where did you get the fuel pump from? I know Yamazon is known to have bad fuel pumps. Sometimes you'll get years out of them and sometimes they're dead out the box. Have any idea what the tank looks like on the inside? Could be some blockage or something. You may be on the right path looking at that patch job on the fuel line.

Got pump off rock auto, but this was happening all before new pump - once I got car from daughter it wouldn’t start so pump was first thing and started right up. It happens randomly - but pump has been in for about 2 months now and just did injectors yesterday. Was weird why today though it was like I just put injectors in (meaning no fuel in engine or lines had to prime). Once it seemed to get fuel up to engine, it ran fine. So I’m not sure other than it’s gotta be fuel related. I’ll prob just do lines right way and go from there. Tank looked ok when I swapped pump out, but may be worth deeper look. Thanks again!

@@ej4lyf99 fuel pressure regulator could be your issue as well. I had a honda that was having these issues and it was that regulator. It's On the fuel rail as well.
@ej4lyf995 ай бұрын
Tried starting and now it wont start at all lol - disconnected battery and fuel pump to check tank (which is clean), check relay its good and fuse inside, its good....rehooked it all up and just turns over - man I cant win for losing haha...I do have a new fuel regulator coming in and will swap. This is nuts though - was just driving around town about 2 hours ago and no issues and now it won't start. @@HowIDoItFaM

I wish we knew what the fuel pressure looked like. That would rule out that out at least.

Great video bro! Im having the same issue. On that fuel pressure gauge where did you plug into that vacuum line to. Appreciate any feedback. Subscribed to tour channel also
@HowIDoItFaM Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and the Subscription! I plugged into the fuel line. The main thing was going to pull a part and getting the little fuel line under the hood. I really can't explain it better than the video. I wish I could let you borrow the one I made. It doesn't take but a few minutes to make it though.

@@HowIDoItFaM Appreciate the response. Just to clarify the hose I'm speaking of is the clear plastic one that's connected to that gauge of yours. It looked to be plugged into something
@HowIDoItFaM Жыл бұрын
Oh no that's just the pressure release valve hose. It has a little button on the side of the Guage that you can press to release the pressure. In this case it'll release the pressurized fuel through that hose into a container. Comes in handy when you get ready to take off the Guage so you won't spray gas every where.
