The grinding you did was awesome. I would advise in the future having a stream of water trickling over your wheel and glass to further prevent breaking risks. The best way I’ve found (and it’s a recycle) is to take a 2 liter empty soda bottle with its lid. Poke a small hole with a sewing needle or pen a bit below the middle of the bottle. Fill it up with water and cap tightly. When you want to have water trickling out just unscrew the cap slightly and aim! It works great. I use this when I’m cutting ceramics or glass.

What a great idea! Especially for those of us who don’t have a sink to work over. This could be taken outside to wherever it was needed. Thanks for the tip! 😊❤

Thank you so kindly Steve. I use to do alot of etching 30 years ago. The product I used was a etching cream however it is a dark brown color. Very caustic. I checked it last week and still works fantastic. I googled it and etching cream does not expire. I will get my bottle cutter out and get back into etching. Take care and keep creating your wonderful videos ❤

Both are nice. I think if you would do a second paste, it would be more defined. Very interesting project.

I got one it works ok. As long as you get temp of water right. I used running water. Cold from tap. I tried to make wine glasses from top but execution needs work but then life got in way. So you have empowered me to have another go.

Wow, things have got more technical now. I used to cut bottles years ago and the equipment then was very basic and the results very hit or miss. Loved this set.

That's pretty cool! I love the dragons! I prefer the Armor etch myself. It's smoother and a lot less work. I would have trouble doing it with the Dremel because of the arthritis in my hands.

Using the marker to show where to use the dremel was a game changer for me. I used to leave the stencil on - such a mess. Totally makes sense and makes me feel dumb for not thinking of it. 😂

This is cool. I've been seeing folks using a turner to make beach wine glasses with resin & sometimes little metal turtle charms. I'd love to see you try it out for us. Especially if you can find a good food safe resin. Although you don't put it up near the lip too.

You’re a bit late. I just took all my empty wine bottles to my brother for his elderberry wine this year. Guess the only thing for me to do now is drink more wine while rearranging my craft supplies so when the bottle cutter arrives I’ll have a place to put it. Dang. The things I do in the name of crafting. 😉😋😂💕
