@@TheAwesomeOrange . I explained badly myself.sorry I am just a French woman speaking badly english. No IKEA did not get rid of Ivar system. But these last years I notice that they reduce many other items in natural pine wood like Tarva with its simple chest of drawers that was famous for being "DIYed! ".it is so sad because I love to imagine how I can turn out furniture by painting or adding details ect ..hope IKEA in future will increase new models of furniture in simple pine wood to be finished the way you want.fortunatly we still have IVAR serie that offer so many possibilities.

Thanks! The slats are that deep and the poly gave it a smooth finish, so it is easy to wipe down. If something spilled on it that might be harder but dusting is easy. 🍊
