Many different designs for each type of project are also included. For example, there are hundreds of designs kzfaq.infoUgkxb2mhCug-GkCWrq69Ce2I0nM0D4QpxAqu for outdoor buildings, from small sheds all the way up to a complete stable. Choose whatever type of shed or storage house is right for you. Pick from fancy ones or more utilitarian designs.

Great book for a beginner . kzfaq.infoUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ this book really starts from the beginning, as in it explains what basic tools are and how to use them. But when it gets to the art of creating joints and how and when to use them this book really starts to teach you something. At least that was my experience.

WAAOH! That's fantastic. That's exactly what I wanted to build but I didn't know where to start and I didn't want to hire a handyman for such a job. I wanted to attach a shed just like yours where I can store several containers from the garage. I will refer to this video several times till I build the shed like yours. It will probably take me three weeks since I am just an amateur without even the right tools! !

Hey man, nice job. If you're located where any snow falls and gathers I'd suggest lowering the roof of your shed so that it's not level with the window, as snow can build up, melt and cause water damage around the window opening.

The paver base is so you don't have to use sand. The instructions in the 2 minute video for the paver base have the leveling sand first then paver base then pavers. The paver base is made so water can move around underneath and drain but now you have the sand covering it all up. Not graded away from house either. Also need joint sand. I'm so confused by this build.

I’m confused by your comment. You say the pacer base s so you don’t have to use sand. The you say the sand goes first then the paver base. Explain to me please?
@danschilling5863
@danschilling5863 2 жыл бұрын
@@user-qm1wc7dc8t The youtube directions from paver base show that you use the sand under the paver base to level the paver base. Not on top of it like he does in this video. Then without the use of sand which is my first sentence, you put the pavers directly on top of the paver base.
@sargonoshana2324
@sargonoshana2324 Жыл бұрын
Good catch, but this method is not to use gravel. You still use sand but yes underneath the base.

how would anyone get it level with a paver base made of rubber? Traditionally sand has always been used as the layer under the pavers, for this type of masonry work..
@littlefarmerette123
@littlefarmerette123 2 жыл бұрын
Very nice job on the shed and pavers, might tell your viewers if they attach it to the house in any way it becomes an instant termite feast. In your case, it would have been best to build up off the ground on pavers or pour a simple slab and build on that for the size of the shed. Within a year or two the 2x4 base posts will have been rotting and almost guaranteed dryrot at the very least. If you're lucky. If you've attached it to the house ANYWHERE best to put some metal shields between the house and shed. Termite Shield: A shield, usually of non-corrodible metal, placed in or on a foundation wall or other mass of masonry or around pipes to prevent passage of termites. Galvanized metal or even flashing works. That comes from a lifetime pest professional. Love your channel.

Hey don't have time to go through all the comments but if you ever run into the problem with the pole and concrete if you do put a 4x4 piece of wood about 4 foot long centered with the pole the wrap a chain around the pole and hook the chain to a jack and jack it up you'll be a lot happier lol but the straight bar was a good investment 👌

Look at some of the stuff he put in that shed - shovels, wheelbarrow, etc. Those are outdoor tools, and are typically used in all weather conditions.. they can handle a bit of snow. Besides, you could just throw a tarp over it in the winter

I was thinking of a lean too lik that for along side my shed slash guest house now . I may use your idea . But I think i want it more closed in so may put the fence boards closer together to seal it up more to our heavy spring rains we get here and taller also . But fence boards would sure save me money . I can get cedar ones here for a 1.66 and can get 8 foot ones for 2.19 s may go the 8 foot ones THANK YOU

Weed wackers will spread the thorns all over the place (bad for pets and bare feet). Since you only have a few weeds, try a pair of leather gloves and a little muscle. You might be surprised how easy it is, plus you are removing the root too, unlike that quick fix tool. Also, you should use plastic paver edging otherwise your pavers will slide out of place espcially with all of the repeated garbage can movement.

Cracking job. Just eager to see, now that time has passed, what's happened to those paver stones around the edges as it looks like you haven't secured them, just placed stones around them. I'm presuming the action of wheeling the bins over they've broken loose. You also don't appear to have locked them together using kiln dried sand between them - no mention of that.
