Hnjoytoys sales a free standing inflatable paint booth (that stays up if power goes out) that's a true crossflow (push style) that gives a lot of airflow and exhausts paint fumes quickly. Also uses EPA compliant filters, unlike those black foam panels (filters for this model) where you can smell the overspay from outside of the structure. You can even get it waterproofed.

Can you hook up the blower suction side to help collapse back down?

a guy i know bought one and when he was finished painting the car was drying the power went out the booth collapsed on the paint job so next time he built a pvc pipe framing it keeps the booth standing jus in case and also he use it to hang lights

I am thinking if you cover the roof with a tarp it would cut down the heat inside from the sun and help in case it rains

Is the one in this video the 28x15x10? If so, do you feel like you would have been better off getting a larger one, or was this plenty of space for you? It looks like you had plenty of room in the video, but that's also only like 80% of a car and an older mustang at that, which are a little bit smaller than modern cars. I guess the question is do you think that size would be adequate for a full sized sedan or worse, full sized SUV?

Make something that goes over the inlet (suction) side of the fan, with a tube attached (not unlike the one you used to inflate the booth), insert that tube into the "fill" sleeve and turn on the fan. It will suck ALL the air out faster than it took to inflate it.....and you won't have ANY air left in the booth! You won't have any trouble folding it up. You could make a temporarily device out of construction paper and good quality duct tape. I hope I've been a help to you. Russ

Smoothly-presented, and well-organized, and the inset, large screen-filling text actually helped emphasize the points. A screen list, presented bullet-style, would have helped in the summary You made clear a DIY enclosure will have both pressure equalization and filtration issues. While DIY can be much cheaper, it requires experiment and much more time to erect and take down, if intended to be portable. * As a side note, the music was much too loud, and actually made your voice harder to hear. Your content was interesting enough to make the music a distraction, if not an annoyance. Video presentation is a matter of keeping it simple, informative and clear.

I noticed one side was dark and the other side was lit up well I could screw you up with metal Flakes and candy colors

I bought one of these inflatable spray booth, I regret it. Will never compare to spraying in a spray booth. These inflatable spray don't remove the overspray as well as a traditional spray booth. The overspray floating around dries with the incoming air and floats around dried and lands back into the fresh paint.

I see inflatable paint booths going for $ 400 to $ 1,000 which isn't bad. But I'm thinking a tunnel greenhouse would be cheaper and simpler to erect and take down.

I wonder how many times a person could use it? I imagine it would deteriorate within a year or two, heat, cold, rodents could get into it... not to mention wind and nature.....
