Great video Steve as always. Just a hint,throw some paint on your t-handle,pvc doesn't have any UV protection,and the sun will cause it to become brittle over time. I learned the hard way.

I just got an 8ft extendable painter’s pole and inserted a dollar pool noodle on it so it floats. I can adjust it up to 16 ft and I cost me around $25.

$50 for a pole is not very cheap.. How much are they sold for? Another thing that you could try is using pvc pipes and inserting a smaller one into a larger one (e.g., 1/2" into 1") for rigidity.

Would a 8ft to 16ft telescopic pool pole from Home Depot work for you? Foam it for rigidity and buoyancy.
