Love the video. One suggestion. It would be great to see the computer on the desk, and someone using it. That would help understand the ergonomic dimensions.

This looks like the start of a really great idea. There is a huge need for a desk that you can stand up at AND sit on a chair AND sit on the floor with. What about a video where you make this desk but with some counterweight pulley system that lets you float this design up and down in a stable fashion?

Would like to throw a question at you for a suggestion. At the rear of a nice sized work desk for a small studio. I would like to use pipes but in a different way. Would really like your thoughts. My speakers are Adam 7X - around 11" deep, 10" wide. I know I will have to find a top plate. Under the back of the desk, I was thinking for legs for each of the two stands, coming through the desktop with one pipe which is what the plate is welded or connected to. All that is seen, is above the desk, one large pipe going straight up to the height I need. Here is the problem I see, you may see more. I can't screw the base circle pieces through the carpet, thus a base is needed. I also wondered, is there a way to support a single pipe coming out of the desktop strongly attached to the bottom of the three plywood layers that is laminated in a way to support the pole about 26" above the desk top - each speaker is about 27 lbs. Hope you see this - would like to know what you think - ideas appreciated - - -

No cheap but not that expensive for something very unique. Probably costed around $50. Thanks for watching

For the look dIY is cheaper, I have looked up industrial desks made on ETSY, and they are around 200$ for a project like this, or if you want a full desk that would prolly run you around $120 in parts, it would cost you close to a grand...Nice job btw!

Gloves keep your hands clean, and you can get a box of 100 latex gloves for $10. I use them every time I clean, stain, or use chemical products. Save your hands!

This is glorious, I been tryin to find out about "key rack woodworking plans" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Yiyli Yeyavid Booster - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my work buddy got amazing success with it.
