DIY Super Singles military rims

Жыл бұрынIn this video I'm describing the process I used to build my own Super Singles rims using military rims. This is useful as my bolt pattern and rim size were different than anything local I could find. Part of the video shows the build process for a set Mitsubishi Fuso (Canter) rims using Hummer H1's rims but mostly using a set of 20" military rims getting converted from a 10 to 8 bolts pattern for my Hino Ranger. This is my experience and only for entertainment purposes. If you decide to build your own rims consult a professionals rim builder!

Intersesting Job. I recently asked a local rim builder about widening my 12 R 20 rims from 8" to 10" to carry a wider 14 R 20 tyre. That is cut the rims and install a 2" piece and weld in to provide for the wider tyre. They refused to do it citing that because I would be operating above 50mph that I might get a wobble.

I could see that happening, lots of welding and might be hard to all line up. In my case it turned out really good.

Can you adjust the offset on those somehow
