Hehehe… waste* not waist… anyway, if the equipment is available why be mad, I live in a small town and the gym has never been full, and while this could disrupt others in a more populated gym, im sure just talking to the person and maybe asking them to use the bar would be a quick an easy solution.

Respect on creating a tool....but those exercises are trendy hot garbage. The hip muscles give a lot of people issues because they spend a lot of time in a sitting position, so when you strengthen those muscles, they shorten, and create more tension, which leads to hip and back pain from an imbalance. If you're a powerlifter training to increase your deadlift for a meet, hip thrusters work, but for most people, hip thrusters just lead to imbalance that causes hip and back discomfort.

Hey, thanks for chiming in. The BC hip thrust bar is $149 on the website, that is technically more expensive. It’s also heavier, bulkier and made of different materials. I don’t think either one is a perfect solution for every person, but it is nice to have some variety. How many different options are out there for barbells? They all basically do the same thing but have subtle differences, the consumer gets to choose which one is right for their needs.
@iamfuckingyourwaifuandther2743
@iamfuckingyourwaifuandther2743 Жыл бұрын
@@KaizenDIYGym Oh, I bought mine a year ago at $135 didn't know the price went up. I prefer the hip thrust bar because it doesn't stick out of the rack, and you would need another bar anyways. The BC hipthrust bar is also pretty light to the point where you can pick it up in the middle with one hand and pretend you're darth maul. Also I wouldn't have to worry about messing up a nice bar, tearing up j-cups, having two bars, the knurling tear up the pad, or having the pad slip off during an excercise I have 100's of pounds on. I like the idea, and I think your design is awesome and minimalist, but for me it falls under its the same price for part of the product that it's trying to replace, but is probably less durable and less functional than the actual thing. Same reason I didn't purchase abmat's barbell leg roller. Costs as much as a rogue leg roller, but I also have to do extra set up to make sure the bar doesn't smack me in the face.
