Check out this easy DIY wood headboard DIY idea for under $75! In this master bedroom makeover series, I'm sharing how we created this DIY rustic headboard in little to no time at all!
In this video, I will share how to make a headboard from start to finish and even have some fun along the way, such as choosing stain colors and then finally seeing this bedroom makeover come together.

I was so excited to see this vision come to life and not only is it a beautiful DIY but it is a budget-friendly DIY and THAT makes it even better! Another thing I love it is a great quality wood headboard that will last and look beautiful at the same time!

You said jacobean right the first time!😍 It's my favorite stain but rarely goes on true to the rich brown color. I use sanding sealer after sanding, the lightly sand in groves to take more stain, giving pine boards more grain look. Then the stain sets on top!🥰 Alot like the walnut but brown than red tones. Love the headboard!😍😍😍

I have been looking for a headboard for probably 2 years! I just couldn’t find what I wanted....until now!! I am going to do this in my bedroom!! Thanks for the idea and showing how simple it will be to do it!

If you lived in my area I'd hire you to redo my whole house lol I have so much stuff but I don't know what colors to do I just suck at decorating but I love diys. Looks great

your stain will take more even if you sand the wood and also use wood conditioner :)

Did you drill pilot holes before screwing to the wall? Or did you just go for it?

It’s holding up very well! It’s almost been 5 months now, I will be filming an update this weekend and answering a ton of questions and showing how it looks after 5 months. I hope to release it in 2 weeks!
