These boots are the stuff of dreams!
The original YSL boots cost 10,000 of the dollars!!!! That's insane but dang... they ARE gorgeous.
I decided to make an ankle boot version because I knew I would be able to wear them with anything! The knee high version is gorgeous but I felt like it would be much more limiting.
By doing it on an ankle boot, not only was is cheaper and quicker, but I can wear them all the time!
To be safe, I would buy two panels of the mesh for this project.

Amber and i released our videos 1 week apart... along with pretty much every other DIYer on KZfaq lol. If you want to be outraged, i recommend you get outraged on behalf of YSL. We all copied them haha.

I’m so glad you liked the drape, but now you can’t teach me how to make a perfect seam!! I wana do this with uggs or ugglike boots and I’m watching these videos to get an idea of how to do it.
