The car has unbelievable power off the line, but there's a couple of problems. As you mentioned, you haven't done any oval racing. The second problem is that car was set up to be a drag racing car. It's too heavy to make it an oval track competitor.

I have a 911 and also have owned a Hellcat. The issue here is 911’s can take high speed turns no problem. Even with less power it was probably still gonna get ahead.

Seems like the turns make you nervous.. the banking in the turns should help with understeer moreso than a flat surface just make sure u got grippy tires.. oval track you may want more camber as well and thatll help with cornering especially in the back.. as the rear of the car will wanna kick outward as the wheels dont steer like the fronts.. u can carry a lil more speed in the turns and u can get back into the gas when u reach the apex of the turn..

Porsche's are made to go round corners, to a lesser extent so are Corvettes, hellcat designers see corners as an inconvenience and only made them turn to park.. No amount of seat time will get that around an oval quicker without serious suspension work, less weight and tyres you'll cry when paying for
