Hello Greg, I want to ask where did the 60% come from in the final calculation ?

Because the specific epoxy we are using is a 1:6 ratio. We have calculate the amount of resin and hardener we have to use. To calculate this you need to take your total amount of epoxy you going to use for your project divide that by 1.6 (that will give you the amount of resin) the you need to X that by 60% to get the amount of hardener you going to use. If this makes any sense?

Hi Greg ek hoop jy kan dalk help... my resin wat ek gebruik is 100g teenoor 33g Hardner . Hoe werk n mens die besigheid uit ek werk op n stuk hout wat 2 meter lank is 60 cm breed en dan 0.50cm in sy dikte. Ek het maar nou begin ek sal bly wees as jy kan help. En dan weet jy waar kry ek die beste resin vir n glossy look?

For this specific epoxy yes, each epoxy has a different calculation

Hi Yvonne, we currently using AMT epoxy, but we are also experimenting with Epoxy Empouriums epoxy, thinking of making a shift soon.
