UPDATE HERE • False Imprisonment UPD...
So visited this hotel in Essex , let them know what I was doing. Then found a different building which at 1st I wasn't sure if it was the same place or even being used. Security approach fast and detain me saying I've committed an offence. When 3 arrive I ring 999 myself and Essex Police arrive within 5 minutes thank god.

"I am going to stop you leaving" - that is them saying they are going to assault you if you leave. Assault doesnt necessarily mean punching you or whatever that police officer was attempting to allude to. An assault is to apprehend immediate unlawful violence, they dont need to actually touch you. Get a solicitor and submit a complaint to the police, explaining what happened and how you expect the police to respond when a member of public is falsely detained.

Amazingly I stayed at this place when it was a hotel open to paying guests. Was not a bad place to stay. It is a huge establishment. Obviously now a dump run by an out of control management with specific residents only.
