Gijs, leuke en nuttige review. Ik heb precies dezelfde conclusie getrokken op basis van wat online onderzoek. De mini 3 is super tof, maar wat een geld. En met wat creativiteit kan je makkelijk toffe beelden schieten met de mini 2. Mare, ga zo door!

Hoi Gijs, Wat een goede review ... voor mij. :-) Voor alle beginners die wat gewacht hebben tot ze betaalbaar beter volwassener worden. En ik heb het gevoel door jouw review dat dat nu langzaam toch echt wel zo is. En voor diegenen die geen zin hebben om piloot te worden met alle examens etc dit is een heel goed feitelijk voor veel doeleinden een professioneel stuk gereedschap. En zoals altijd: alle automaat programmaas zijn ... zonder al te goede smaak, je moet ze heel gedoceerd gebruiken en zijn al gauw spuuglelijk. :-) Wetgeving is wel een hoofdstuk waardig overigens en overlast in natuurgebieden!! :-) ja ja. 'heb je hem weer' categorie maar helaas zo waar. ennuh... als fotograaf....: ...Aperture. klemtoon op de eerste. :-) Groet weer.

What I could never understand is why DJI only allows 2 x digital zoom in 4k while it's 4 x in 1080p. Wouldn't it make more sense to allow 4 x digital zoom in 4k and 2 x in 1080p since you have more pixels to work when starting from 4k? 4 x digital zoom from 4k would yield a 540p image whereas 4 x digital zoom from 1080p only yields 270p. To put it another way, you have twice the digital zoom potential when you start with a 4k image than you do when starting with a 1080p image.

Hoi Gijs, nog even een belangrijke vraag bij de bijgeleverde programma's: 2.0 4.0 etc. krijg je steeds upgrades gratis of moet je dan ook een nieuw apparaat kopen, wat is jouw ervaring bij upgrades èn updates? Kun je daar al wat over zeggen?

Het gaat zo vanzelf dat ik het niet meer noem. Firmware updates gaan super bij DJI. Niet alleen van de drones maar ook bij de Pocket 2. En ja, ze zijn gratis of beter... je hebt er al voor betaald want echt goedkoop is DJI niet.

Ik snap dat je daar een verschil ziet, maar ik niet zo. De een zal een lelijke automatische film mogelijkheid als een upgrade zien en de ander dus duidelijk niet. Het is ook niet zo dat een VW Polo opeens een VW ID5 wordt. Maar ik heb het wel een paar keer meegemaakt dat ik iets 'extra's' kreeg in een firmware update en als je me nu naar een voorbeeld vraagt, weet ik hem natuurlijk niet. Externe Mic op de P2 mic was er een geloof ik. En als ze de nieuwe RC voor de oudere drones geschikt maken, zie ik die firmware update in mijn drone toch echt als een upgrade.

I wish those volume measures were cubic millimeters but unfortunately thouse are cubic centimeters.

@@OutdoorguruGearReviews I guess you used dimensions in cm when calculating volume so volume also is cubiccm. With Mini 3 Pro example: Folded: 145×90×62 mm that would be 809100mm3 which is 809.1cm3 Ah and my calculator adds comma as thousand separator which makes it look like 809,100

Hi Gijs. Usually like your videos but not a fan of this one mainly because I don’t like drones. Drones have become a bit of a standard for outdoor B-roll and one cannot upload an outdoor video anymore without showing the complete surroundings. Therefore , next to directing people to the local regulations I think you should also make a moral appeal how and when to use drones. Drones are invasive because we can enter places we did not enter before and it comes with a lot of noise. Especially for wildlife this is disruptive. So it is not only the question if my 1 gram under the weight limit drone is allowed to fly here, it is also a consideration if it is needed or if it is the right time or season. In parks like Fulufjället drones are no longer allowed but it first had to come with a sad incident where a rare gyrfalcon died because of a collision with a drone. B-roll is nice but to what cost?

Hi Mark, I agree mostly to what you write. Drones and wildlife... you have seen the shot of the reindeer in the video. The wind was louder than the drone to my ears but the reindeer reacted to something and I don't think it was the drone in this case. It was too far away. But... I was in Fulufjället a few years ago and I used a fishing rod with a GoPro and nobody can tell the difference. The rod is my solution to what you are saying because I agree; a lot of people that fly drones don't have a clue and don't care. I spend quite some money on my drone license and I don't have a habit of flying everywhere always. When people are around, I don't want to bother them. I like the silence too. But doing everything myself... the drone is a helpful device that I use from time to time. If manufacturers should do one thing to make drones better is not to make them fly faster or further but make them silent. Let me think about what you write and maybe do a vlog on that topic. In addition there are many good uses of drones and my original comment was not intended to point fingers but more to create awareness that using drones comes with responsibilities that are sometimes more than only the regulations.
