This is a very informative video with a lot of information in a short period of time. I've discovered that you can change the camera modes by taping on the screen icon and then using the joystick to toggle between them. I've found this easier than swiping.

Hope you get it soon! No need to worry or to be nervous about it, it just takes a bit of time to get used to the Pocket 3 and then the vlogging experience, but I'm sure you will do fine. Nothing is going to be perfect right from the start and as other KZfaqr always say, you just have to hit record and you will learn more and more every time. Hope this helps! I’ve newly bought the pocket 3 and still tinkering it after 4 days. My question if I may is - - should I enable the audio to video synch feature when using the wireless mic 2? It’s in disabled mode as default. I don’t know if I should enable it or leave it as is? Thank you and regards from Sydney. 🙂

you are most welcome! that setting can be off if you don't want a backup copy of your audio recorded inside the Mic 2 (It has an internal memory). Turn it on if you want that backup copy

I got mine yesterday!!!! Wow .. i love it as much as i love my action 4 !!! I haven't try to do any vlogs on it yet.. b'cos i have a minor problem with it. It says my sdcard speed slow. Shooting may stop. What???!! that is the same sdcard i use on my previous Pocket 2....!!! oh man! Looks like i need to invest a better sdcard! lolz.. over all .. I love it

PD is Power Delivery, which is the name of the technology. Your charger doesn't have to be 65W, I use most of the time an Anker that has 30W or one that came with a Samsung smartphone a few years ago

I FINALLY got my OP3 yesterday. Loaded up this video to watch through it again today with the OP3 in hand to follow through everything you are showing here. Thanks for the awesome tutorial. I do have questions for things you can cover in a future video. They are regarding the Naming Management and Video Compression. What options do you think would be best for those? Congrats! I'm happy for you! I didn't cover the naming management but I do use it, I use a custom name for my files (OP3 as in Osmo Pocket 3) So my videos are easier to identify since I work with multiple files. For Video compression there is a mention about it in my next video. But use HEVC if your video editor supports it. It will be auto selected in some cases, for example if you use D LOG M, or some frame rates. h.264 is the standard compression, bigger files but more standard so every video editor and device should be able to play them.

Watched so many vids reviewing on DJI Pocket 3, still find yours the easiest to understand all the things needed to know, it save me a lot of time exploring or reading through the menu😅 Btw, for Pocket 3, can I pause a vid recording and resume back again just like Pocket 2??

Great video. Very informative! I got a question, I got an open box pocket 3. My pocket 3 rattles when it's turned off and when I move it around (near the lens) is this normal? Thanks.

Hi Otto I find your videos very helpful. I just bought DJI P3 following along your video but my pocket screen at 6:35 (minutes) doesn’t have access to the orientation mode or the active tracking. What have I done wrong I missed how we get those icons to work they are grayed out. Any help is greatly appreciated. I’m a newbie. 😊

Hello! When they are grayed out it means that you can't use them in your current video mode or frame rate, for example tracking doesn't work in low light video mode, and vertical mode only works in regular video mode. I mention some of these problem in this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pqulpc9msK_Mgn0.html or you can try to set the video mode to normal and to 24fps to determine from there what doesn't work when you change the different settings or modes

Otto, you are a genius! I changed the video compression to h.264 and it works fine with my Movavi software! There are so many settings etc. on this camera I forgot about that one. I tell you I was so frustrated and disappointed I considered selling the camera, because I don't want to pay for and especially learn another software system. Can you tell us which software you use? Thank you for your review though I do have a question. How does one change the aperture on the pocket 3? Say, In a scenario where I want to shoot such that everything is in focus, I'd ideally want an aperture of F8 and above. How do I do this?

pan follow is the general movement to use, but if you want to tilt up and down frequently as well you need to use follow mode

HI Otto, like your video's, I have found them helpful. Do you intend to do anything on the Timecode feature. How to use it, also if you don't have a timecode generator, can you sync two Pocket 3 so you can do a multicam without worrying if the audio is good enough to sync clips.

Hi. I wasn’t intending to but most likely will since more cameras are adopting it and now more users are asking for it. You can’t sync automatically if one device doesn’t have it (there might be a way but I don’t know about it). Thanks for your kind feedback, take care

As I have only found one general explanation on DJI but with subtitles, Was wondering if its possible to link 2 Pocket 3 to sync Timecodes and then go and shoot the video independently. In my opinion it's a great upgrade. I've been thinking about making a P2 vs P3, but that might take about 3 weeks from now. The P2 wins in size and weight, it's more discreet and easier to carry around, but the P3 has many things going on. I have a few videos about this camera already in my channel

Can you please make a video on how to download videos from the mimo app , every time I try to download from there it says fail transfer and the video shows up black ! I’m using a iPhone so I’m not sure why it’s doing this but I’ve heard other people having problems with this as well
