I am not a super techy person, and this is my first video camera upgrade from my iPhone, so this review is from a general user standpoint! There are still a lot of features I haven’t explored, but these are the main things I’ve noticed over the past few months! 😁

I have the same maxcam case for my DJI 😊 I actually bought it by mistake when I wanted the DJI pocket 3 but couldn’t cancel the order and couldn’t get through on the phone so I kept it I bought a few accessories filters and a different stand but have to say I’m more than delighted with it. I AM looking at the Go Pro Hero 11 BUT, one wonders given what I would be using it for.. if that would be overkill AND the DJI would be a lot cheaper AND deliver ... 👀I liked the fact that you hooked up your piece of tech to the phone... I have two phone systems, an Iphone 11 AND a Samsung FE20 linked to my Samsung A10 tablet... sync is good. I appreciate what you say re the battery life. In all honesty that can be overcome to a degree by simply carrying a few extra battery packs etc. 👍

Thanks for this review I have been considering to buy this as I have a videography as a course subject next year. And I want this as the gimbal and stabilizer seem like really good as I have knee injury and sometimes use walking stick so the movement usually is shakey. One question, how long would it take for the camera to cool down? If the temp ever spike up.

By far the best review for this camera because it is real life usage. Thank you. I wish more reviewers would do real life usage of the equipment they review. Though, how is it when filming away from you? Like you are walking facing forward rather than on your face?

The image quality of this is far better than a gopro Hero11 or a DJI Action 3 for low light/night. This is one seriously underrated camera and should last you for years to come.

I just bought a hero 12 and I love it. I was considering getting a gimbal, but the pocket 2 can be had now for about twice the price of the gimbal. Any thoughts on whether you think the pocket 2 is worth it in 2024? It’s under $300 now and readily available. I’m mostly going to use it alongside my hero 12, but for lower light conditions. I know the pocket three has great low light capability, but it looks like the pocket two is no slouch in low light. I would love your thoughts. Do you think it’s worth it in 2024 since it’s under $300 now?

In my tests the tracking seems quite poor compared to the mini3 pro drone for example, still useful at times. Otherwise the image quality is really good from it.
