@@WilsonTaylor yeah if you get it to work, I have a a6400 with rsc2. gettin on my nerves and also the fact that all of you make videos while ignoring this fact! Either the camera screen turns black while recording or my iPhone in the raven eye app. its frustrating

Great video, , didactically perfect, thank you! So, if I understand correctly, I frame a distant object, say 800 metres or even further away, I zoom in to bring it close on the camera screen, I frame it with tracking and I follow it if there are no obstacles. So I can do without DJI LiDAR?

what type of range do you think active track would have? looks like you'r 20-30 ft? would it work for 100 ft with a zoom lens if there's nothing in the way?

quick question: does it help keep the subject in focus or just keep them in frame?

If you are using a camera with good auto focus it will track what is in the frame and focus on what is in the frame, Thanks and if you have any other questions let me know!

what tripod do you use for rs gimbal? it's too top heavy to mount on any tripod

I mount it on a professional Manfrotto tripod. It's very sturdy. Mine was around $900 but sometimes you can find them used at places like B&H Photo/Video.

2:34 I didn't notice anything well. It jumps around. I can do smoother in the lock mode without any tracking.

so did the gimbal not lose the subject when oyu were using force mobil? even when he went behind a tree?

nope ! not at all

Force mobile is manual with no tracking at all, hence no loss in tracking as there is none

Liked! Quick question though, does it work with a telephoto lens? Let's say 400mm. Asking because I am a wildlife videographer.

active track has nothing to do with a lens.

@@JasonTheZoologist it is not distance nor a lens , 1 mile 1 foot does not matter the only thing is it can not track from behind something. if it is in the open it will track.

@@WilsonTaylor Thanks. It's so interesting to me that DJI seems to be kinda bad at marketing this featue. Seems like the 3 might be better since the screen is bigger. Also, I assumed that the HDMI cable was needed to input video into the Raveneye, but apparently the camera cable will do it, which is great, because I want to use this for livestreaming.

You have to use the small screen on the Campbell 2 scroll through that’s how you use it
