Let's ride a 1939 DKW NZ350 Wehrmact 350 two stroke motorcycle. One from my collection. Great motorcycles, every collector should have one and usable on a daily basis.

Have to say, i recognise every second of it. This is exactly what i experience when i ride my own DKW. Excellent filming :-)

I love the sound of those DKW motors. That is a special machine.

Yes they are great. I have 3 of them. They all ride differently though. The early ones are smoother I find.

My friend in Minnesota has one that looks very similar, without the pedestrian slicer license plate. He rides it every chance he gets. I think he still owns the only one in the USA.

Still going strong. Amazing if one takes into account the fact that she surely had been nearly around the globe in her younger days.

Very nice! Runs really strong for an 82 year old bike.

Thanks. It's had a new piston, rings and I made a new bronze wrist pin. It's a nice, easy and light bike to ride. Everyone should have one. I have 4 of them 🙄

Hey, very nice bike!. I also got a 1939 NZ350 and it might be a military bike that has beed repainted. However i can't find the WaA stamp on it. Can you tell me where yours got it? Thanks!
@MotorClassics Жыл бұрын
Thanks; they don't all have WaA stamps, mainly on the later ones ('42 onwards) . I had 3 of those NZs. I bought this one in England years ago and sold it last year. Was a great bike to ride. Will be doing more videos on NZs later as I have another one in bits to rebuild.

@@MotorClassics A few days ago i was able to find it. It's on the left rear portion of the frame, on the right side of the framenumber. If yours is a matching 1939 frame, the framenumber should only be on that left frame triangle and the mainframe is blank and does not even have a partnumber. Btw. I think your front break doesn't belong to a 350.

So alt und funktioniert immer noch. Was wird wohl dieses alte Motorrad seit seiner Herstellung alles mitgemacht haben ? / So old and still works. What will this old motorcycle have been through since it was manufactured ? :-)

How can I buy this bike in India
@AyushPandey-tm9qr3 жыл бұрын
It is a bike of WW2 era used by German army. I don't think you can find it anywhere other than auctions. Only Royal Enfield Bullets are WW2 era bikes that are still sold now, that too because Madras Motors kept going on in India despite original Enfield's complete shutdown

You wouldnt beleive it but I know somone that found 20 x KS750s and BMW R75s in India, in a warehouse.. they were captured in Africa and shipped to India for support and case it kicked off more down there.
@AyushPandey-tm9qr3 жыл бұрын
@@MotorClassics whoa didn't know that, I will try to search about this especially if any KS750 is remaining( although I expect them to be either sold or trashed). Btw loved the work you did on this one. Enjoy riding this classic beauty
