@@jayyahmad9225 Maybe you’re right, but he definitely should have appreciated her more early on in their marriage . He admitted he wasn’t always the best husband to her. But I guess we shouldn’t judge their marriage. All I can say is God bless her and their marriage.

I don’t think she looks that old because he’s 59 and she’s 60 now. So I think she doesn’t look too bad even though this was made 2 or 3 years ago. But she still was in her late 50s. I think sometimes we forget their age and assume they should always look young when it doesn’t always happen that way. I could be wrong though. 💯

I don't thinking they are trying to normalize,I think it's just part of the couple's story.

@@lwazzzyoutuber The point is if this show is about highlighting and displaying black love that is supposed to be inspiring and aspirational to others, I think there should be a clear standard such that not any and every black couple no matter how dysfunctional could be featured. DL has been a perpetual cheater and has cheated on his wife countless times. One of those instances of infidelity led to a baby being murdered. There is nothing aspirational about this couple at all and it's disturbing that they're being featured on here. As I wrote, there was another couple who also has infidelity issues that led to someone being murdered. These are not the stories that should be featured in this series!

@@876me7 WHAT?!?! Oh my! I did not know that. That's incredibly sad. I agree they should do some more research into the couples and highlight ASPIRATIONAL couples. I understand wanting to showcase "relatable" black stories/love and I do appreciate the intent of the whole series but they have to understand the weight of the platform and be more careful in their selection process.
